Best train market and floating market experience

It was such an amazing experience, i would recommend booking this trip for an unique experience. The travel included lunch, dessert and complimentary pictures along with boat rides and train rides. Our Guide “Wawa” and her team was so great throughout the trip. I would recommend this team always. Our photographer was really good as well. This is a must book experience.

Long day but a well organized day away from the city

I was with Wawa for the tour today. It’s very nice that she is from the city where the tour is taking place and can provide personal experience to the area. I looked at a lot of options before picking this one and I think it does the best job at coordination and activities. Although it is far from Bangkok, they feed you while you are moving and continue to keep you entertained. It was worth doing if you want to get out of the city for a full day. The only issue I had was that my hotel was not in the pick up zone which I understand is difficult to pick up during rush hour in the morning. I traveled on my own 30 min to the central pick up. Another tourist had not gone to the pick up point and forced the bus to reroute to go pick them up and delayed my pick up by 1 hour. This may seem like no big deal because of traffic, but when you get up at 6:30 to be ready at a different place outside for an hour, it’s very inconvenient and provided for a very annoying morning. However, the company did make it right and they were very apologetic for this. It doesn’t make sense to make one tourist wait that followed directions.

Response from the operator: Hi Haley, Thank you for such detailed and fair feedback. We’re glad Wawa’s local knowledge, the activities, food, and overall organization made the day worthwhile. We’re especially sorry your morning pickup was delayed after an unexpected reroute for another guest. You followed the instructions correctly and should not have had to wait that long. We appreciate your understanding and are glad our team was able to make things right afterward.

The best tour so far in Thailand!!!

The tour was very worth it! The food were very delicious and informative. Aside from the heavy rain during the boat ride, everything else was perfect. Thank you so much to our wonderful tour guide Mr. Palm & his group for making this tour enjoyable and worthwhile! 🥰🥰

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Calling this your best tour in Thailand so far means a lot to us. We’re glad the food, Palm’s guidance, and the whole team made the day feel worthwhile even with the heavy rain during the boat ride. Thank you for recognizing everyone behind the experience.

It’s a one of a kind experience. The tour guide, Palm and his team are friendly and accommodating. If it’s not for the rain, I would’ve definitely enjoyed the whole floating market experience.

Bangkok: Floating Market & Train Tour with Michelin & Pickup: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.

How much does Bangkok: Floating Market & Train Tour with Michelin & Pickup cost?

    +

Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bangkok: Floating Market & Train Tour with Michelin & Pickup take?

    +

Plan for about 8.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.

Is Bangkok: Floating Market & Train Tour with Michelin & Pickup worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 87 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 119 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bangkok: Floating Market & Train Tour with Michelin & Pickup?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bangkok: Floating Market & Train Tour with Michelin & Pickup suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bangkok: Floating Market & Train Tour with Michelin & Pickup?

    +

Around 42 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 8.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bangkok: Floating Market & Train Tour with Michelin & Pickup start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bangkok?

    +

On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bangkok?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bangkok?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
