Only go for a nice boat ride…Eat before
Not recommended for those who don’t speak Thai as the staff working the check in desk do not speak English. We followed the instructions exactly as followed and the first employee told us go upstairs upon showing her our virtual and email confirmation. Finally went to another employee at the stand and she took the confirmation verified our names & provided us w/ stickers. This operator does not even market to a Western clientele or serve anything decent re: the buffet. The servers were extremely kind, and the show was very Bangkok. Great opportunity to capture some amazing views .. just don’t expect to eat w/ the unruly crowd rushing a subpar buffet. For what we paid the show and pictures we captured were worth it, Also beware it’s quite a distance away from the Central Park area if you are staying anywhere near there.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re sorry for the confusion during check-in and the language barrier you experienced. We appreciate your comments regarding the service, buffet, and location, and we will share your feedback with the operator to help improve the experience.

OK SOMEONE ENJOYMENT TO BE HAD
Even If you are a non Asian speaker you can still enjoy this dinner cruise with a couple of exceptions. Food was out about 20 minutes after seating and announced in an Asian language; just pay attention to groups starting to get up & make a dash for the food too! There was plenty of it & a large variety so grab a couple of plates before they clear it all away; the drinks we paid for probably had alcohol in them but I couldn’t really tell; the entertainment was really lame, silly really. Bunch of pretty boys & girls strutting around with seemingly no rhyme or reason. Sitting 20 feet away from speaker was no great thrill & the woman singer was obnoxious, off key & painfully loud. Other than that it was enjoyable, seeing the Wat Arun lit up from the river was great!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate your honest comments and are glad you enjoyed the river views, especially Wat Arun. Your feedback regarding the food service and entertainment has been noted and shared with the operator.

A nice way to cruise the river
My wife and I really enjoyed the cruise. You see so many sights you sail past, and they are beautifully lit. The food was good and plentiful and the waiters were really attentive. The entertainment was fun! The singer has a great voice and we enjoyed listening to her. The dancers/ models are a bit kitsch, but it was still a laugh watching them strut their stuff and entice people to have a photo with them!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review. We’re really glad you and your wife enjoyed the cruise, the night-time views along the river, and the buffet with attentive service. Happy to hear you liked the live singer and even had a laugh with our dancers/models as well — they do love bringing some extra fun to the evening. Hope to welcome you back on the Chao Phraya next time you’re in Bangkok.

Why this scores 45
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bangkok Carnival Dinner Cruise with Free-flow Beer and Buffet: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.
How much does Bangkok Carnival Dinner Cruise with Free-flow Beer and Buffet cost?
+
Prices start at $1200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bangkok Carnival Dinner Cruise with Free-flow Beer and Buffet take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.
Is Bangkok Carnival Dinner Cruise with Free-flow Beer and Buffet worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bangkok Carnival Dinner Cruise with Free-flow Beer and Buffet?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bangkok Carnival Dinner Cruise with Free-flow Beer and Buffet suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bangkok Carnival Dinner Cruise with Free-flow Beer and Buffet?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bangkok Carnival Dinner Cruise with Free-flow Beer and Buffet start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bangkok?
+
On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bangkok?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bangkok?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
