7-Day Tour Review: Discovering the Wonders of the Philippines
Day 1: Arrival in Banaue Our journey began in Banaue, where we were greeted by the breathtaking views of the iconic rice terraces. Staying at a local guesthouse, we were immersed in the culture and hospitality of the Ifugao people. A short trek around the terraces was mesmerizing; the vibrant green fields cascading down the mountainside were unlike anything I had ever seen. Day 2: Exploring Banaue We spent the day exploring more of the rice terraces. A guided tour took us to the Batad rice terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hike to the viewpoint was challenging but absolutely worth it. The panoramic views were stunning, and our guide shared fascinating stories about the Ifugao traditions and rice farming techniques. Day 3: Sagada Hanging Coffins Leaving Banaue, we headed to Sagada. The drive was scenic, with winding roads and lush landscapes. Once in Sagada, we visited the famous hanging coffins. The experience was both haunting and beautiful. We learned about the unique burial practices of the local Igorot tribe. Later, we explored the Sumaguing Cave, where we navigated through incredible limestone formations. Day 4: More of Sagada We took part in a sunrise trek to Kiltepan Viewpoint. Watching the sunrise over the mountains was an unforgettable moment, with the fog rolling in like a dream. After breakfast, we visited Echo Valley and the burial sites, immersing ourselves in the culture. The afternoon was spent at a local café, enjoying traditional cuisine. Day 5: Journey to Baguio City On our way to Baguio, we stopped at the picturesque town of Besao for some local handicrafts. Upon reaching Baguio, we were welcomed by the cool mountain air and vibrant flowers. We visited Burnham Park, where we rented a boat and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon on the lake. Day 6: Exploring Baguio We started our day at the famous Baguio Market, where we indulged in fresh strawberries and local delicacies. A visit to the Philippine Military Academy was fascinating, and we learned about the country’s military history. In the afternoon, we explored the BenCab Museum, showcasing contemporary Filipino art amidst stunning views. Day 7: Departure Our final day was bittersweet. We visited the historic Camp John Hay and took a leisurely walk through the pine-scented trails. Before heading back, we stopped by the Botanical Garden, soaking in the beauty of the flowers and greenery. Overall Impression This 7-day trip was an incredible journey through the heart of the Philippines. The combination of natural beauty, rich culture, and warm hospitality left a lasting impression. Whether you’re trekking the rice terraces or experiencing the unique customs of Sagada, this trip is a must for any adventure seeker. Highly recommend!

Banaue-Sagada A 7 days Northern Adventure Trip: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Manila.
How much does Banaue-Sagada A 7 days Northern Adventure Trip cost?
+
Prices start at $960 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Manila usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Banaue-Sagada A 7 days Northern Adventure Trip take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Manila is not rushed.
Is Banaue-Sagada A 7 days Northern Adventure Trip worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Manila, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Banaue-Sagada A 7 days Northern Adventure Trip?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Banaue-Sagada A 7 days Northern Adventure Trip suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Banaue-Sagada A 7 days Northern Adventure Trip?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Manila can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Manila and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Banaue-Sagada A 7 days Northern Adventure Trip start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Manila within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Manila?
+
On Outty we rank every Manila experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Manila Food Tour: Introduction to Philippine Street Food, Experience Intramuros with Bamboo Bicycle - Ecotours, Spectacular Manila to Tagaytay: Full-Day Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Manila?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Manila?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
