    Bamboo Rafting with Owen 10/10

One of THE best excursions we did. We had nothing reserved coming to Jamaica. When I reached out to Owen, he took it upon himself to make the reservations for us so we could have a smooth and enjoyable trip. Owen was very nice and informative and told us all what we should and shouldn’t do in Jamaica. Owen was on time picking us up and dropping us off. His prices are amazing and he will take you anywhere you want to go. I felt safe with Owen the entire trip and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to book a trip to Jamaica, you won’t be disappointed. I will be booking Owen my next time coming back to Jamaica!

Response from the operator: Hi Jaylan I am grateful that you gave me an opportunity to provide ground transportation while vacationing on our island. It was a pleasure serving you and all the members of your group. I'm very happy that you were impressed with the level of customer service I provided. I look forward to serving you on your return visit.

    10/10 Experience!

If you book with Owen, you won’t be disappointed! He was very punctual, he took us where we needed to go for our excursions and anywhere else we were interested in visiting. We went to Chukka, Dunn River Falls, and did Bamboo rafting and everything was amazing! Owen helped my group feel safe on our trip and helped us create all the best memories! The complimentary mangoes were a great surprise as well!

    Enjoyable Trip

We were originally deciding between a couple of companies to book this trip, but chose this one as they were very efficient at replying to my messages and answering my queries. They were also very accomodating when we enquired about changing the date we had originally booked only a couple of days before we were due to go! Word of warning, be careful as some companies advertise this trip but when you check the details you're only paying for the transfers there and not the actual rafting! This company included everything. Our drivers name was Owen and he was amazing, very attentive during our excursion and extremely helpful afterwards, in locating shops for my daughter to purchase certain items she required. He even paid for them in the local currency (we only had US$) to ensure we got the best price, then allowed us to reimburse him in $. We really appreciated his kind assistance! I would definitely book with this company again :))

Nice and Different! For the good memories!

Took us about 45-1h each way. The road can get a little bumpy. The driver was nice and explained some of the history and extra info while on the way. Most people were kind and friendly. Our Captain Fisher was nice too. The ride down the river + foot massage + up river took about 1h. We thought it was enough to enjoy. We really enjoyed doing this activity. We did it around 10am, not crowded at all, but by the time we returned, there were a lot of people getting ready for the rides. So, I would recommend doing in the early AM.

Bamboo Rafting With Foot Massage: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Montego Bay.

How much does Bamboo Rafting With Foot Massage cost?

    +

Prices start at $44 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Montego Bay usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bamboo Rafting With Foot Massage take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Montego Bay is not rushed.

Is Bamboo Rafting With Foot Massage worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Montego Bay, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bamboo Rafting With Foot Massage?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bamboo Rafting With Foot Massage suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bamboo Rafting With Foot Massage?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Montego Bay can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Montego Bay and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bamboo Rafting With Foot Massage start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Montego Bay within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Montego Bay?

    +

On Outty we rank every Montego Bay experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Montego Bay Airport Transfer to Negril, Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls Private Tour from Montego Bay, Appleton Estate Admission Ticket & Distillery Tour with Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Montego Bay?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Montego Bay?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
