Amazing Experience
My husband and I took part in these activities in December and had an amazing day. Our guide, Dodi, was fantastic! He was friendly and knowledgable and really added to the enjoyment of the day! This is a must do excursion.

Excellent experience - but switched Monkey Forest (had seen) with Holy Water Temple and Ubud Water Place
A must-do tour, esp. if you like cooking and trying and learning new things! The experience starts with a tour of the local market, and quickly turns into some hard work. The result was delightfully delicious. My driver, Dodi, was very helpful and attentive to take pictures and videos of the cutting, grinding, smashing, frying, steaming, grilling - the entire cooking extravaganza! And don’t worry - the staff are very helpful and you wouldn’t feel lost or overworked for a minute. I swapped the Monkey Forest for the Holy Water Temple and Ubud Water Palace. Dodi knew all the good photo spots for both - and also explained well the different temple grounds (the Holy Water Temple is pretty large!). You can enter into the water - but I was a tad lazy to do so. The spa was great - the therapist hit every tense spot on my back; note when you select deep impact massage, be prepared for the intense pressure. Then finishing the day with a herbs and flowers bath makes you feel like reborn. Definitely would recommend the combo as a full -day tour and Dodi as a driver/guide, being both extremely helpful and witty / funny. Had a great day!

Great day out for a couple
It was an amazing day with our drive to the market to see local produce and then preparing and cooking traditional food. Then a short stop to see the cheeky monkeys at the Ubud Monkey Forest, then finish the day with an amazing spa treatment.

We spent amazing day starting with cooking classes then going spa. Classes were so much fun, we had really fantastic chef lady 🙏 and such a funny group. Cooking in such a peaceful place, i the middle of rice fields was really a great experience and I'd recommend it to everyone visiting Bali. Big big big thanks to our driver Desu, who adjusted to us, gave us many useful tips about our next days and what we should visit, he was so kind and helpful, Desu thank you!🙏 Spa time was so beautiful and relaxing after a day like this, we really enjoyed whole day. Must do!

Balinese Traditional Food Cooking Class with Ubud Monkey Forest and SPA: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.
How much does Balinese Traditional Food Cooking Class with Ubud Monkey Forest and SPA cost?
+
Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Balinese Traditional Food Cooking Class with Ubud Monkey Forest and SPA take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.
Is Balinese Traditional Food Cooking Class with Ubud Monkey Forest and SPA worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Balinese Traditional Food Cooking Class with Ubud Monkey Forest and SPA?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Balinese Traditional Food Cooking Class with Ubud Monkey Forest and SPA suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Balinese Traditional Food Cooking Class with Ubud Monkey Forest and SPA?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Balinese Traditional Food Cooking Class with Ubud Monkey Forest and SPA start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ubud?
+
On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ubud?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ubud?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
