A profound, authentic, and deeply moving spiritual experience

I booked the private tour because I wanted this day to be truly special for my daughter and I, and from the moment Dewa picked us up from our accommodation, I knew I’d made the right choice. Dewa immediately put us at ease with his warm personality, respectful manner, and gentle humour. As we were two women (Mother & adult daughter) travelling alone, feeling safe mattered deeply to us, and Dewa created that sense of safety effortlessly. His itinerary was perfectly planned, thoughtfully paced, and delivered with genuine care. Our first stop was a visit to a female Balian for shamanic massage, energy by touch healing, and a final blessing. It was one of the most powerful and authentic healing sessions we’ve ever experienced. Dewa most definitely chose to bring us to her with such discernment – she was someone extremely gifted and deeply connected to her practice. We left feeling lighter, clearer, and profoundly moved. Next, Dewa drove us to a beautiful silver workshop where we were able to explore local craftsmanship and take a quiet breather while we browsed their showroom of tens of thousands of pieces. After purchasing a stunning pearl & garnet ring and a pendant, we were on to the next part of the journey. From there, Dewa took us to Taman Beji Griya, where he personally delivered us into the care of Rai, a lovely and nurturing female guide who stayed with us throughout the entire Melukat ritual. The purification at the waterfall took around an hour, and it was extraordinary - powerful, emotional, and unlike anything we’d ever experienced, despite having done a Melukat at a different location (with different energy) only a few days prior. Both Dewa and Rai captured exceptional photos and videos for us, documenting moments we never could have captured ourselves. These images are treasures we’ll keep for life. After the ritual, Dewa drove us to a serene spot in the rice fields where we enjoyed a delicious vegan lunch surrounded by nature. It was the perfect way to ground ourselves after such a transformative experience. We were meant to stop at a coffee plantation on the way home, but because we needed to get back and prepare for a Kecak performance, we had to skip it - but Dewa adjusted the plan without hesitation or fuss. Throughout the entire day, Dewa was charismatic, funny, respectful, and incredibly attentive. He balanced professionalism with warmth in a way that made us feel both cared for and completely comfortable. His knowledge of the area, his relationships with the healers and guides, and his intuitive sense of timing made the whole experience seamless. If you’re considering this tour, especially as a solo traveller or two women travelling together, I cannot recommend Dewa highly enough. He is trustworthy, kind, and genuinely invested in giving you a meaningful, safe, and unforgettable experience. Thank you so much to Dewa, who we - Amethyst & Imi - are now blessed to call "friend". This day will stay with us forever.

Response from the operator: Dear amethystp2026 Reading your beautiful words truly touched my heart deeply. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with such honesty, kindness, and love. It was a true blessing for me to spend this special day with both of you. From the beginning, I could feel your sincere energy and open hearts, and I am very grateful that Bali, the healing, and the Melukat ceremony could bring meaningful moments into your journey. I am so happy to hear that you felt safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout the day. For me, this is not only work, but also a genuine connection from heart to heart. Meeting beautiful souls like you is one of the greatest blessings in my life. Thank you also for trusting me to guide you to the Balian healer and through the sacred experience at Taman Beji Griya. I believe every meeting happens for a reason, and I feel honored to have been part of your spiritual journey in Bali. Your kind words about Rai, the healing session, the purification ritual, and our time together mean more to me than I can express. I will always remember the laughter, the conversations, and the beautiful energy we shared that day. May your hearts always be filled with peace, love, healing, and beautiful new beginnings. Bali will always welcome you home, and I truly hope one day our paths will cross again. Thank you again, my friends Amethyst & Imi. I will carry this memory in my heart forever too 🙏✨ Warm regards, Dewa 🙏

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.

How much does Balinese Shamanic Healing & Holy Water Purification In Ubud Bali cost?

    +

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Balinese Shamanic Healing & Holy Water Purification In Ubud Bali take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.

Is Balinese Shamanic Healing & Holy Water Purification In Ubud Bali worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Balinese Shamanic Healing & Holy Water Purification In Ubud Bali?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Balinese Shamanic Healing & Holy Water Purification In Ubud Bali suitable for kids and families?

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Balinese Shamanic Healing & Holy Water Purification In Ubud Bali?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Balinese Shamanic Healing & Holy Water Purification In Ubud Bali start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ubud?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ubud?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ubud?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
