What you'll see and do
Lempuyang Temple
Lempuyang Temple is believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. Definitely a highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175m above sea level, up on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali. The heights are reachable via a steep staircase of over 1,700 steps, with attractions along the way including several other temples and hordes of grey long-tailed macaques that inhabit the surrounding cool mountain forests.

Tirtagangga Park
Tirta Gangga Water Palace were designed and constructed in 1948 by Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem (1887 - 1966), who was the last king of Karangasem. He was a remarkable man to say the least, not only because he was the architect of the water gardens but also because he helped with the construction of the gardens. A lot of people were astonished to find the Raja amidst his lower class laborers, working knee deep in the mud digging out the pools and ponds.

Virgin Beach
Virgin Beach stretches for about 700 metres around an attractive turquoise cove bookended with rocky cliffs and fringed with tropical forest. The not-so-white sand is fine and squeaky and a joy to walk on. Out to sea, on the southern end of the beach, Pulau Kuan sits whale-like on the horizon. There has been a fair bit of development here over the years, but Virgin Beach hasn’t lost its charm — what was once a truly virgin beach now is home to a small village of beach warung's each with a bunch of deck chairs and umbrellas to entice you to linger - but who needs enticing? With fresh fish and cold beer, the only difficulty is choosing which one. The warm lapping waves are a delight to swim in. Check the season as the millpond we saw can harbour two-metre waves at times. Mostly, it’s something in between. The gentle waves are ideal for bodyboarding which can be rented for 50,000 rupiah.

Classic VW Convertible Tour, the Unforgettable Moment
My custom itinerary, VW Safari tour package I chose my own destination to Lake Beratan (Bedugul), Handara gate, further to Jatiluwih. Pick up and take home at Kuta. IDR 750K, a 10-hour service, already included gasoline and driver fee. No entrance fee included to the tourist, dining, and driver tip. Payment via bank transfer. The pickup schedule is 7:00, I show up at 6:50, the car is ready. Daddy Kadek Edy's driver. Friendly, polite, informative & communicative. The car is healthy without restrictions given its age (production year 1976). Distater smoothly, ointelligeman good on the streets decreased. Timing, driver, car, payment, all stable, OK. Don't forget the driver's tip. RECOMMENDED TOUR OPERATOR! Thank you Bali Sky Tours!

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bali Volkswagen Classic Car: The Gates of Heaven Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seminyak.
How much does Bali Volkswagen Classic Car: The Gates of Heaven Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seminyak usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bali Volkswagen Classic Car: The Gates of Heaven Tour take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seminyak is not rushed.
Is Bali Volkswagen Classic Car: The Gates of Heaven Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seminyak, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bali Volkswagen Classic Car: The Gates of Heaven Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bali Volkswagen Classic Car: The Gates of Heaven Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 9-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Bali Volkswagen Classic Car: The Gates of Heaven Tour?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seminyak can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seminyak and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bali Volkswagen Classic Car: The Gates of Heaven Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seminyak within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seminyak?
+
On Outty we rank every Seminyak experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Bali Waterfalls: Tibumana, Tukad Cepung and Tegenungan, Bali Instagram Tour: The Most Scenic Spots, Ubud Hot Springs and Waterfall Private Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seminyak?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seminyak?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
