Not as advertised, poor communication.
Unfortunately the driver was 90 minutes late with no call/text to advise us, so we were waiting in reception wondering where he was and why our messages werent being answered. Apparenting the driver had car issues, but this doesnt explain the lack of responses to messages. As the tour operator couldnt find our booking ref when we called, I susoect it was just a case of losing the booking. Unfortunately this meant that we had to cut some of the best parts out of the itinerary as we'd lost the light and it was too dark to visit all the spots advertised. Also as the driver didnt speak English and there was no tour guide, it would have been self guided. Still the parts we did do were great. We did a jungle hike to some waterfalls, even got to swim in one of them. This part had an excellent guide, he spoke English well and was so knowledgeable about the jungle, the plants etc. He knew the best routes and kept us safe despite it being a moderately challenging trek. It was so quiet, really off the beaten track. This part and the lunch were great. Just a shame we didn't get to do the advertised tour. I'd save the money next time and just get a car to take us to Pukak Manik Waterfall and take the excellent guide from there. As then you're moving to the appropriate schedule it may be possible to fit the full itinerary in.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused at the start of your tour. A 90-minute delay, lack of communication, and difficulties with the booking reference are absolutely not the level of service we strive to deliver, and we are very sorry that this impacted your experience and caused parts of the itinerary to be missed. We are, however, pleased to hear that once the tour began, you enjoyed the jungle trek and waterfalls with our local guide. It’s wonderful to know that his knowledge, attentiveness, and care made that part of the experience memorable and safe. Your comments regarding communication, guide availability, and ensuring the full itinerary can be delivered are very important to us. We will be reviewing this with our team to make sure improvements are made and future guests receive the reliable and professional service they expect. We greatly appreciate your honesty—it helps us improve. We hope you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide you with the seamless and fulfilling experience we are known for. Warm regards, Yogi Wanagiri Bali Adventure – Viator Local Partner

Great jungle hike
We were picked up from our hotel on time. Upon arrival, we were given a very friendly welcome by our guides. Then the adventurous and beautiful hiking tour began. The waterfalls were unique and you could admire them in peace without the rush of tourists. The tour is for everyone who wants to escape mass tourism and experience the real Bali. After the hike, we were able to get to know and enjoy the Balinese cuisine of the neighboring village. We can recommend the tour to every nature lover.

Beautiful off the beaten track hike
This was one of the best tours we took on our trip all over Southeast Asia. You hike up a path to see seven different waterfalls and where it finishes is one of the most draw dropping natural sights I have seen. This is definitely off the beaten path as we did not see any other tourists the entire time. My wife and I are fairly active hikers and this was challenging for us but the guide help us where it became difficult. At the end of the hike you are taken to a locals house for a traditional delicious Balinese lunch. We also asked to stop at Ulun Danu Bratan temple since you drive right by it.

A great day.
Wow what a great experience, through the forest, to a Temple on a lake and later to the waterfall. Ended the day with a traditional lunch, fantastic. Guys, thank you for the great day.

Incredible Trip in Bali
Incredible trip we had with Wanagiri Bali Adventure. This is the trip you must do when you are in Bali. The trekking is average and it is good for us. The trekking is a bit slippery so please bring good shoes with you. Our guide Agung is very friendly and helpful. We had very good time together. Our guide understand very well about the local area. Lunch is good and we can order veg food. Thank you so much and we will come back again next year.

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bali Most Scenic Waterfalls Trekking: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.
How much does Bali Most Scenic Waterfalls Trekking cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bali Most Scenic Waterfalls Trekking take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.
Is Bali Most Scenic Waterfalls Trekking worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bali Most Scenic Waterfalls Trekking?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bali Most Scenic Waterfalls Trekking suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bali Most Scenic Waterfalls Trekking?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bali Most Scenic Waterfalls Trekking start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ubud?
+
On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ubud?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ubud?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
