Perfect all day tour to experience the best of Ubud, bring your Energy!
What an amazing experience. My fiance & friends decided to do the Private tour so we could get the best experience and we got Ade as our tour guide. From the moment I booked via Viator, Ade messaged me via WhatsApp explaining the tour and that we should leave earlier than our selected set-off time of 0730. As we were doing Lempuyang Temple, which is is renowned for getting overcrowded, the best time would be to leave by 4am to get there by 6am for sunrise & to beat the crowds. Ade picked us up from our Hideaway Villa which was in the middle of nowhere, originally I was going to suggest meeting somewhere more accessible but he made the trip all the way to where we were which was so appreciated. The trip to Lempuyang was 2 hours and we caught up on some sleep whilst every now & again Ade would fill us in on the tour and what to expect. All our admission fees were covered in the tour price which Ade organized for us so that was very convenient to get through waiting lines. The first stop was Lempuyang and the atmosphere was generally quiet as we were there early. By the time we got there the sun was already rising and was the perfect time to get our photos in early. By getting there early we only waited about 45 minutes before our turn to take the world famous magic mirror photoshoot. Our next stop was Tirtagangga Park, the Kings Park which was just a short ride from Lempuyang. Such a beautiful water pond that offered up some great photos. We didn't really walk around too much as we spent most of the time waiting for coffee & food as we were starving... Following on we were on the way to Lereng Restaurant where they had a swing to get some photos & to enjoy the peaceful & beautiful landscape. The best stop of the day had to the the Cepung Waterfall. Despite the trek down & then up, it was worth it to get some of the best photos of the trip by the waterfall. Second last stop was the Coffee Plantation where you got to sample different types of coffee, help out in the processing of it & also learn & experience the famous Luak Coffee, made from Luak poop (Processed & cleaned of course). The last stop was the Rice terrace which probably had one of the best views of the trip. I actually wish we did this earlier as we would have more energy to spend here but by the time we got here all our energy was spent so we didn't stay here long. But that said, there was SO much to do here from jungle swings (Multiple swings), ziplines, skybikes, touring the rice terraces or just enjoying the fantastic panoramic views of the rice terrace. I would say this was one of the major highlights of the trip, I just wish I had the energy to spend more time here. This could not have been possible without Ade, his knowledge & friendliness throughout the whole trip was fantastic. He was easy to talk to, had great ideas & pointers, helped us out with photos & also had some really good photoshooting skills. The time he dedicated to us was extraordinary and I hope that others have the opportunity to have a Private tour with Ade. He was an amazing person and I wish him all the best! Thank you Ade for the tour!

Perfect day
We had the tour with Ade. Ade was punctual and wonderful in his communication. He taught us a lot about the country, its people, and culture, and guided us perfectly throughout the day. He took great photos of us and showed just the right amount of sensitivity. An unforgettable day that I would recommend to anyone.

Unbelievable experience with tour guide "Komang" during Galungan festivities!
Komang was our tour guide. He was on time all time. Giving us detailed explanation about the activities. Also, he put so much effort to get us involve to the balinese culture by showing us around and explaining Galungan festivities. Thank you again Komang!! You did a great job!!

Bali Lempuyang Temple, Waterfall with Rice Terrace Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.
How much does Bali Lempuyang Temple, Waterfall with Rice Terrace Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $28 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bali Lempuyang Temple, Waterfall with Rice Terrace Tour take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.
Is Bali Lempuyang Temple, Waterfall with Rice Terrace Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bali Lempuyang Temple, Waterfall with Rice Terrace Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bali Lempuyang Temple, Waterfall with Rice Terrace Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bali Lempuyang Temple, Waterfall with Rice Terrace Tour?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bali Lempuyang Temple, Waterfall with Rice Terrace Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ubud?
+
On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ubud?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ubud?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
