Tegalalang Rice Terrace which is located in Northern Part of Ubud is famous for its beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system), which according to history, was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. Tegalalang forms the three most splendid terraced landscapes in Ubud shared region, with the others being in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan.

Great tour through the south of Bali
Great tour, we were expecting a half day, but we got about a whole day's wirth. Our driver Aditya was exactly on time and provided us with all the info we needed about the tour and the places we visited. We would book it again in a heart beat.

Good taste of Ubud tour.

Amazing half day Ubud experience in private car
Took my mom on half day trip with Wayan in private car charter. Wayan is absolutely awesome and made our trip totally wonderful. He took us to monkey forest, waterfall, rice terraces and many other local delights. He took extra time and went out of his way to let us have a fully enjoyable experience. Highly recommend Wayan!!
