    Exceptional Experience

Highly recommend Nyoman for a photography tour. He is highly knowledgeable, exceptionally kind, and has a great connection with the local community. He helps with camera settings and guided me to prime, unique shooting locations. An amazing experience from start to finish.

Great photo spots and even better company

Had such an incredible time with Nyoman for a full day tour and got to check out so much, including some random stops that we noticed while driving around the island. Nyoman was an absolute wonder to have take us around and finding top notch locations. From rice fields to volcano vistas, he knew every spot inside out and where weather conditions didn’t hold up found alternatives that worked beautifully. In addition to getting some great images, it was a wonderfully fun day. I will absolutely do this again on a future visit to the region.

What a great day and money well spent

David is a knowledgeable photographer, and knows the best off the beaten path spots for shooting in the area around Ubud. He's a good guy and will tailor your day according to your skills. I am an avid amateur and experienced in landscape photogrpahy. I also love shooting people. We spent hours Ina really cool market that no one but locals would know. What a day. David also works with a local driver, NY man Dana (nyomandana622 on WhatsApp) who is just an all around fine human being. He gave so much color and local background info. Do not hesitate to engage either or both of these guys. They're just superb.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We hope to host you again in the future. Please feel free to reach out to us regarding Bali, Indonesia or international tours and workshops. We offer discounted rates for return customers and can offer a discount for any family/friends you refer for future bookings. Cheers! -DMPhotography Team

    Worth every cent!!

All I can say if you want to experience a beautiful sunrise over volcanoes, go to a very local market tourists rarely visit, have lunch in the home in a local village, and stop at many spots along the back roads, all the while taking incredible images, then this is the tour for you. I recommend this tour without any reservation. Also David is very helpful to ensure your camera settings are appropriate for the setting. A must do for any photographer visiting Bali.

Response from the operator: What a stunning morning that was! Thanks Ian and Trevor for coming out with me for the day, and the opportunity to show you some beautiful parts of the island away from the tourist areas. I think you got to experience a good combination of people, landscapes, temples and some traditional villages. I hope you can return to Bali one day and i can show you more of this beautiful island.

Bali Full Day Photography Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.

How much does Bali Full Day Photography Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $246 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bali Full Day Photography Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.

Is Bali Full Day Photography Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bali Full Day Photography Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bali Full Day Photography Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bali Full Day Photography Tour?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bali Full Day Photography Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ubud?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ubud?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ubud?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
