    Fly Board Experience in Bali

This was my favorite experience on our Bali trip and one of the coolest things I've ever done when on a holiday! The workers were super friendly, helpful, patient and encouraging and my driver kindly offered to take photos and videos of me from the shore. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be or people made it out to be beforehand either. If I only had one experience to endorse for Bali, it would be THIS!

Seawalk is worth the time. Def worth it

We did fly board and sea walker, it was really fun, especially the seawalker, you wear helmet and they take you down in ocean, and you can walk around and feed the fishes, so amazing, they have instructors with you at all times.

Knee injury still painful after 2 weeks

I did have fun moments but safety is more important therefore I give 2 stars instead of 1. <What happened> Fell on rocks and injured my left knee. I expected the instructor should be experienced enough and have avoid taking me to the shallow areas and stay away from the rocks. I told them I was a beginner therefore they should know that I would fall down a lot. <Bad first aid and wound management> A staff simply used cotton to dab alcohol and left it tied on top of my wound with a strip of bandage. The cotton was dried and stuck to my wound. I saw my doctor and she told me that was a handled badly as the cotton would attract infections. I had a few very painful local anaesthetic injections before my doctor could use a blade to scrap off everything. It has been over 2 weeks and I still have tenderness. I am sure I am not the only one who got injured and they should have a first aid officer on duty. <Fun experience> I did managed to fly for 10 secs and it was fun and a great experience. If I could have chosen again, I would rather pay more and do it in Australia. Accident might still happen but at least the duty of care would be much better.

Response from the operator: Dear compass, Than you for taking time to make review for us . Actually it's just a small wound and you also said so far is ok, We only gave red medicine and cotton to stop the blood and maybe you forgot to open it when you arrived at the hotel and the wound if it was closed for a long time it would easily become infected. Then the second problem is that we play the flyboard there every day and it's safe, the point is that we always look at the safe and comfortable conditions, we also don't want an accident. Once again thank you so much for your review, We hope to meet again so we can talk well about this problem. Best regards Ketut

Bali Flyboarding Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jimbaran.

How much does Bali Flyboarding Experience cost?

    +

Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jimbaran usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bali Flyboarding Experience take?

    +

Plan for about 0.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jimbaran is not rushed.

Is Bali Flyboarding Experience worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jimbaran, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bali Flyboarding Experience?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bali Flyboarding Experience suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bali Flyboarding Experience?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jimbaran can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jimbaran and add a light layer if any part of the 0.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bali Flyboarding Experience start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jimbaran within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Jimbaran?

    +

On Outty we rank every Jimbaran experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Discover The Best of Ubud: All-Inclusive and Private Guided Tour, Ubud: Monkey Forest, Jungle Swing, Rice Terrace and Water Temple, Best of Ubud Private and All-Inclusive 1-Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Jimbaran?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Jimbaran?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
