Very disappointed
Flight was delayed by half hour and bags took long time to arrive. Driver did not wait, and left. Was forced to get a taxi after looking around for driver. Called the support line, but no answer.

Not up to the mark
-1 , we were 3 couples moiz, mohammed and Qusai bhai with family and had a 6 night tour in and around Baku. Our 3 rd day experience was horrible in gabala, where our car broke and there was no support by the tour company. Our day was wasted and we had to spend 250 usd to reach Baku. We reached Baku at 2am next day….. We felt unsafe and was safed the way tour company acted. How ever we were promised a refund of 150 usd ….. it has been 2 months but there is no response from the tour company. This is disgusting and unprofessional. We demand an apology with refund promised
Response from the operator: Dear Moiz, Thank you for sharing your experience with us, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you faced during your tour in Gabala. We deeply regret that the car breakdown disrupted your day, and we understand the frustration caused by the lack of immediate support. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we are sorry that we fell short of providing the necessary assistance during such an unexpected situation. Regarding the refund of $150 that was promised, we truly apologize for the delay. This is not in line with the level of service we aim to provide, and we will immediately look into why the process has taken so long. Please rest assured, we will prioritize this matter and ensure the refund is processed as soon as possible. We would also like to offer a formal apology and discuss any further steps we can take to restore your trust in us. Once again, we sincerely apologize for the experience, and we appreciate your patience. We hope to have the opportunity to make things right. Best regards, Hilal Abdullayeva Assistant to Director Tourtend Inc.

Reliable
The driver already waited for us at the exit. He was friendly and talkative. The car was spacious. We quickly made our way to the hotel by car.

Long flight from...
Long flight from Australia - into the airport arrivals at Baku and there was the Vistor driver holding up our name. Quick transfer to the city and luggage taken to the door of our hotel - you couldn’t ask for better service. Thank you

DO NOT BOOK - They didn't show up and even their number is not working
When we landed, there was no one waiting for us. I try to call the number and it was not working. Contact the Viator agent who was also trying to contact but same, not working. I was told I need to wait for the tour operators approval for the refund, which they did at the end. But arriving to a new country, waiting for the transfer, no response from the company, Viator do not want to take the responsibility for the refund, all together doesn't give us a good start to our vacation at all.

Why this scores 48
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Baku Airport Private Transfer: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Baku.
How much does Baku Airport Private Transfer cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Baku usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Baku Airport Private Transfer take?
+
Plan for about 0.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Baku is not rushed.
Is Baku Airport Private Transfer worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Baku, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Baku Airport Private Transfer?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Baku Airport Private Transfer suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Baku Airport Private Transfer?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Baku can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Baku and add a light layer if any part of the 0.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Baku Airport Private Transfer start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Baku within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Baku?
+
On Outty we rank every Baku experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gobustan and Absheron tour, BEST Gobustan, Volcanoes & Absheron Fire Tour (Group or Private), Shahdag, Quba, Candy Cane - Azerbaijan's Alpine Odyssey Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Baku?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Baku?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
