It’s not how you start your day— it’s how you end it!

The tour started late due to traffic from a political celebration downtown, so we lost about an hour of activity time since Rose Island is around 30 mins from Nassau. But the boat captain and crew still made sure we had a great time. We enjoyed the beach, relaxed, swam and fed the pigs, plus lunch was included in the package. We’ll definitely miss Panda, the 500-lb pig — hoping she stays healthy!

    Pigs, rose island & wifi

Rose island was beautiful. The pigs time was short but cool while they were there. Yes, the pigs poop everywhere but the staff was always there to scoop up the droppings. The WIFI out there was great!!!

    Best day!!!

Fantastic experience!!! The group is capped at 65 people so not crowded like other trips. The beach was gorgeous with like new paddle boards. The pigs were adorable and we did get to feed them in the water. The team constantly picked up the poop before we even saw it. A fantastic family day and the highlight of our week in the Bahamas

    Scam company

We purchased directly through Tripadvisor after reading good reviews about Island Adventures. To our great dissapointment, Island Adventures never showed up to pick up up and it finds out, they had no intention in picking us up. We were staying at the Baha Mar and waiting outside to be picked up for 45 minutes and we called the number and it said it was no longer taking calls. A luxury car driver pulled over and asked us what was wrong and we told him. He did some sleuthing and actually found a number of this place. We called and the women said "Oh we will send a driver out right away" and we said don't bother, you need to refund our money. Thank goodness she did refund our money. We made a complaint to Trip Advisor and I hope they won't advertise this company any more. I thought Trip Advisor vetted these companies but apparently not. My recommendation is to either go thru your resort.

Response from the operator: Good day Mary Jo, We do apologize we were in the midst of a water damage iphone which managed our bookings and we missed your booking. Unfortunately we were not able to accomadate. By no way did we try to scam you as we did refund you immediately. We apologize again and we certainly hoped you would understand things happen.

    Efficient, fun, and memorable!!

Great experience. The boat ride from Nassau was only 25 minutes. We arrived at Rose Island, got out to look around and then the highlight arrived. Feeding the pigs. They were excited to get their carrots and apples. Unfortunately, the surf was too choppy that day to go swimming with them, but you can’t control the weather. Lunch was yummy and then we were able to relax for an hour before heading home. Definitely a wonderful memory making experience. Highly recommend!!

Bahamas Swimming Pigs Experience on Rose Island: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nassau.

How much does Bahamas Swimming Pigs Experience on Rose Island cost?

    +

Prices start at $179 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nassau usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bahamas Swimming Pigs Experience on Rose Island take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nassau is not rushed.

Is Bahamas Swimming Pigs Experience on Rose Island worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nassau, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bahamas Swimming Pigs Experience on Rose Island?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bahamas Swimming Pigs Experience on Rose Island suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bahamas Swimming Pigs Experience on Rose Island?

    +

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nassau can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nassau and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bahamas Swimming Pigs Experience on Rose Island start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nassau within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nassau?

    +

On Outty we rank every Nassau experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bites of Nassau Food and Walking Tour, Pirate Jeep Sightseeing Adventure!, Rum Tasting and Food Walking Tour in Nassau Bahamas. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nassau?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nassau?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Bahamas Swimming Pigs Experience on Rose Island?

    +

Included: Lunch; In-vehicle air conditioning; and Boat Transportation. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Bahamas Swimming Pigs Experience on Rose Island include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 24 listed pickup locations in and around Nassau. Be ready about 60 minutes before the start time.

What languages is Bahamas Swimming Pigs Experience on Rose Island offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Bahamas Swimming Pigs Experience on Rose Island?

    +
