Turnt All The Way Up

Let me start by saying this was my second time in a helicopter. From the time we got to the location, we were greeted gracefully by this lady named Annika. I don't remember the other lady's name unfortunately, but she was amazing as well.I'm very wholesome and down to earth people. From there we signed our waivers and proceeded to meet our pilots and co-pilots. Kyle and Ralph, let me tell you, these two pilots were such a vibe. It was unbelievable, down to earth, funny as hell.Relatable, I'm really happy that we had them as our pilots for this tour. The things that we did in the sky, the things we talked about, the information session that they gave us was unbelievable. Just a bunch of city boys from Toronto.I tell you, the next time I'm in Vancouver, I'll definitely be going back for another helicopter ride because this place was absolutely fire, breathtaking views, natural waterfalls, glacier water, seeing the World War II bomber – it's unmatched, something I've never done before, completely out of sight of my comfort zone.At some point I thought I was in Top Gun. If you're on the fence about booking this particular situation, it's once in a lifetime. Go rogue, have fun, do the unthinkable within the discretion of your safety? Of course. Definitely coming back here, I have to. It's a must.I appreciate you, Kyle and Ralph for all the information and the love and the hospitality that you guys gave us. Your employer is lucky to have you guys as pilots and doing God's work. Sky Helicopter 🚁 you guys got it I will be back soon enough.

Making Memories!!

We called on a whim and were able to set something up for the same day! Christine at the front desk was awesome - sent a uber to pick us up at the hotel. Kyle B was our pilot and he was incredible. Super knowledgeable about the area and incredibly skilled on the Heli! The cloud cover was low so we couldn’t fly to the lake but he made the best of it flying us all over the mountains and finding a great spot beside some of the cleanest water ever. Had a couple delicious beers, did a spontaneous ice bath in the river - Kyle even came in with us! Had a great flight back and the uber was there waiting for us! Can’t say enough good things! When we come back we are going again!

The highlight of our Vancouver trip!

Sky Helicopter delivered the ultimate adrenaline rush! We took the 60-minute flight, and soaring over the jagged mountain peaks and lush valleys was a total "bucket list" moment. The beer tasting was the perfect way to top off the journey. Our pilot, Kelly, was a rockstar—super knowledgeable and made the flight feel like a breeze. The service from Anika and Sebastian was flawless; they handled our Uber transfers to the hangar and the cruise port with total professionalism. It’s rare to find a company that hits the mark on both high-flying adventure and grounded customer service. Five stars!

Do yourself a favour - do this!

What an unbelievable experience! We flew with Roger, who was knowledgeable and super friendly, and the booking process was amazing thanks to Alannah and her on point communication. Honestly, this was that bucket list thing that I didn’t even know was on my bucket list and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Backcountry Beer Tasting Heli-Tour & Landing (Depart SKY Hangar): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vancouver.

How much does Backcountry Beer Tasting Heli-Tour & Landing (Depart SKY Hangar) cost?

+

Prices start at $436 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vancouver usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Backcountry Beer Tasting Heli-Tour & Landing (Depart SKY Hangar) take?

+

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vancouver is not rushed.

Is Backcountry Beer Tasting Heli-Tour & Landing (Depart SKY Hangar) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vancouver, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Backcountry Beer Tasting Heli-Tour & Landing (Depart SKY Hangar)?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Backcountry Beer Tasting Heli-Tour & Landing (Depart SKY Hangar) suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Backcountry Beer Tasting Heli-Tour & Landing (Depart SKY Hangar)?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vancouver can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vancouver and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Backcountry Beer Tasting Heli-Tour & Landing (Depart SKY Hangar) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vancouver within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Vancouver?

+

On Outty we rank every Vancouver experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Vancouver City Sightseeing Tour: Capilano Suspension Bridge & Vancouver Lookout, Epic Electric Bike Tour of Vancouver, Whistler, Sea to Sky Gondola, & Shannon Falls Tour from Vancouver. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Vancouver?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Vancouver?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
