A visit to the unknown locations in the city

It was nice to visit unknown parts of the city and see the street art. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about what we saw. What was disappointing is that it was published that it will be 2.5 hrs tour and it was just less than 1.5. We were surprised it suddenly ended.

Response from the operator: Hi Robi, thanks for your feedback about the tour & kind words about our guide Cecilia. The duration of our tours can vary a little depending on the size of the group & whether the guide makes the decision to walk faster or slower according to the weather conditions. Sincere apologies that the tour did finish a bit earlier than it should have done. I understand one person in the group wasn't feeling well due to it being an unusually hot & humid day. This should have been explained to you clearly & you should also have been offered the chance to see more street art. Hope you are able to check out some of the recommendations to see other cool murals in different parts of the city that I sent you. Thanks & kind regards, Matt

    Very interesting and unique experience.

Very lovely and unique experience with Cecilia ! It was great to see murals and hear the stories about artists and their ideas. Beautiful and very peaceful neighborhood very much out of regular touristy areas. I would recommend to try it.

Very informative and interesting art walk!

My daughter and I went on the Saturday afternoon street art tour and it was fantastic! We saw very interesting art in a really nice neighborhood most tourists wouldn't go to since it is not often written about. Matt is a fantastic guide that knows so much and is well connected to the street art scene. I liked it so much that I booked a private car tour of other street art that was both affordable and great! I would absolutely recommend the tour!

High praise for this tour and for Matt!

This is an exceptional tour that I felt lucky to discover somewhat by happenstance. Matt is extremely knowledgeable and personable, and you will learn and enjoy a lot. Not only is he passionate about art in general but he is especially devoted to supporting developing artists in displaying their work throughout Buenos Aires. In this respect his tour is unique in that you are not just benefitting from his impressive expertise but you are also helping artists in their pursuit of some visual recognition. I was truly impressed and feel appreciative that Matt shared his extensive experience with street art in BA, the role of his organization in helping develop and spread the genre, and added his own personal anecdotes with individual artists and the affected community. A find! Thank you, Matt, for what you do. I’m a fan.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.

How much does BA Street Art Walking Tour - Small Shared Group cost?

    +

Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does BA Street Art Walking Tour - Small Shared Group take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.

Is BA Street Art Walking Tour - Small Shared Group worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 85 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 151 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule BA Street Art Walking Tour - Small Shared Group?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is BA Street Art Walking Tour - Small Shared Group suitable for kids and families?

    +

How far in advance should I book BA Street Art Walking Tour - Small Shared Group?

    +

Around 53 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?

    +

On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
