Perfect tour to learn about the history of the area, with an excellent guide!
An essential tour to learn about the history of Thailand in what was its old capital. The guide (Elena) was excellent, she told us every detail of the temples in addition to the history in a very educational and entertaining way. Without a doubt one of the best tours of our entire trip, 100% recommended!

Fantastic day trip to Ayutthaya with Elena
We visited Ayutthaya with my boyfriend and had an amazing day. Our tour guide, Elena, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. She explained everything clearly and was always kind and attentive. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Thailand!

History and delicacies
Elena was the best guide in Ayutthaya, she explained us the history behind this wonderful place! But the best was her food recommendation, amazing, local and authentic flavors.
Response from the operator: We appreciate your opinion. The Ayutthaya old capital city located far from Bangkok, travels per time around 1 hour and also has a long history behind. That is why it was a good idea to travel with a local guide who can explain to let you learn and understand Ayutthaya world heritage. Thank you for joining. We hope you have the Best Experience of travel in Thailand.

Perfect family-friendly tour of Ayutthaya from Bangkok!
Elena was extremely responsive in communicating with me via text, answering my questions thoroughly to create a perfect Ayutthaya day trip for two adults with six children, aged 5-17. Our tour guide, Jazzy, was amazing, providing a breadth of historical and virtual information with humor and joy that engaged all of us. Even the five year old was asking questions! Our lunch stop, Old City Coffee, recommended by Elena, reserved tables for us and were very patient with all of our questions regarding Thai cuisine, spicy levels, etc. The food was very fresh and artistically presented, while still maintaining budget-friendly prices. Our driver was very safe. He provided cold water bottles after each temple stop and even handed each of us ice-cold face wipes to use after our hikes amongst the ruins. Thanks to Elena’s research, she discovered a 40- minute boat tour around the city that was running a great promotion. We loved a chance to see the ruins and current city from the water, while resting our feet and enjoying the breeze. I recommend Elena, Jazzy and her touring company without reservation and hope to go on further excursions with them again!
Response from the operator: Thank you for such a wonderful review. We are so happy about you, friends and childrens had a wonderful day with Guide Jazzy. We’ll pass them on to Jazzy. We look forward to taking you on another tour during your next trip to Thailand. Thanks again for your kind words and recommendation.

+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bangkok?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bangkok?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
