Too expensive for what it offers

We basically got a car and driver and one night's accommodation in Olympus. The driver was excellent, and had some interesting perspectives on the places we visited. The hotel in Olympus was poor -- unpredictable internet, lukewarm water in shower, poor breakfast. None of the admissions were covered and aside from the minimal breakfast, no meals. That said, we enjoyed the visit to the museums and archeological sites at Delphi and Olympia.

    So much more!

Our tour also included a day in Corinth, Mycenae, and Epidaurus. Our guide Christos (sp?) was wonderful - very knowledgeable, kind, and personable. Aside from the stops at the historical sites, our tour included fabulous lunch stops in beautiful cities/locations with very good food. We even enjoyed a ferry ride in lieu of simply crossing a bridge : )

I climbed the ruins and toured the amphitheater and Agora

Nothing can compare to the ruins of the acropolis and the temple of Zeus. The mastery that was needed without the use of modern machinery and how the people worshiped the gods and how they felt that they could influence the gods by putting on a play in the Amphitheater.

What should I bring or wear?

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
