    get in shape

there was no indication that this was a walking tour. We are an elderly couple and our guide walked too fast for us. other than that, the tour was very good. jb

    Get to know Amsterdam

Great tour. Got a real sense of the history of Amsterdam. Saw spots we never would have found on our own. Lots of walking so wear good shoes. Our guide Oksi was fabulous!! She took us to little places that gave us a real "flavor" of the city. Her knowledge of the Netherlands in general, and Amsterdam in particular, left us with a love of this beautiful city.

Response from the operator: We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that it gave you a real sense of Amsterdam’s history. It’s especially nice to know that you discovered places you wouldn’t have found on your own — that’s exactly the kind of experience we aim to provide. We’re also very happy to hear your wonderful words about Oksi. We will make sure to pass along your compliments to her; she will be very pleased to know that her knowledge and guidance helped you connect so positively with the city. Thank you again for your review and recommendation.

    Wonderful and curious

Victor, our guide in Spanish, made sure the visit was wonderful. He told us not only historical facts, but also curiosities, recommended plans and made us laugh. Oh, sweetie. So much so that we repeat with the other tour.

    Bad with the guide

Not recommended with the guide q has touched me!!! the first thing we have had an hour standing telling the same thing they put you in other turs or internet and their private life, (q did not interest anyone) I want to visit the city and not be standing on a fence another thing was that when I walked I went so fast , however I did other excursions with the same Enterprise and great!! By the way the guide was Argentine, I will not name but some data yes!! Nothing recommended with that person.

Authentic tour of Amsterdam: Jordaan, Ana Frank and Leidsenplein: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.

How much does Authentic tour of Amsterdam: Jordaan, Ana Frank and Leidsenplein cost?

    +

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Authentic tour of Amsterdam: Jordaan, Ana Frank and Leidsenplein take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.

Is Authentic tour of Amsterdam: Jordaan, Ana Frank and Leidsenplein worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Authentic tour of Amsterdam: Jordaan, Ana Frank and Leidsenplein?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Authentic tour of Amsterdam: Jordaan, Ana Frank and Leidsenplein suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Authentic tour of Amsterdam: Jordaan, Ana Frank and Leidsenplein?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Authentic tour of Amsterdam: Jordaan, Ana Frank and Leidsenplein start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?

    +

On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amsterdam?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
