Awesome experience! I would do it again

Such a lovely couple! I had the morning slot 11am-2pm! Fabio and Nicolette are so welcoming, happy and love to share the food and cultural knowledge! ☺️🩵 I got to make tiramisu first , then creating the pasta from scratch! At 1:30 we then enjoy the meal we made! I really loved talking to the couple about the culture and their experiences! 5 star ⭐

An Authentic Milanese Cooking Experience Filled with Passion, Precision, and Heart

From the moment we received a thoughtful welcome note the day before our class, we knew our experience with Nicoletta and Fabio would be special. Their home, located just a short subway ride outside of Milan’s city center, felt like stepping into the heart of Italian hospitality. We were greeted warmly at their apartment and immediately felt at ease. Nicoletta and Fabio have a natural grace about them — the kind that makes you feel less like a guest and more like a friend invited into their home. Our experience began with tiramisu, prepared with impressive precision and care. They guided us step-by-step, explaining technique and sharing tips that reflected years of practice and passion. From there, we moved on to making fresh pasta entirely from scratch — crafting ravioli and tagliatelle using beautiful, fresh ingredients sourced from their local farmers’ market. Their commitment to quality was evident; they shop multiple times a week and clearly take pride in selecting the best seasonal products. What makes this experience truly exceptional is not just the cooking — it’s the people. Nicoletta and Fabio are incredibly well-traveled, and their kitchen reflects that influence, with spices, teas, and ingredients collected from around the world. Our time together flowed naturally between cooking and conversation — discussing travel, culture, family, and life experiences. It was genuine, engaging, and enriching. They shared not only their recipes but their stories, and it was clear how much they love what they do. Their enthusiasm for cooking and hospitality shines through in every detail — from the carefully chosen tools and pasta machines they’ve perfected over time, to the wine and appetizers enjoyed as we cooked. After preparing the meal, we all sat down together at their dining table to enjoy the dishes we had created. Sharing that meal — filled with laughter, learning, and meaningful conversation — was the perfect culmination of the experience. This was far more than a cooking class. It was an intimate cultural exchange and a highlight of our time in Milan. I would confidently recommend this experience to my clients and to anyone seeking a deeper, more personal connection to Italian cuisine and culture.

    Wonderful evening with great company

Wonderful experience as usual with Traveling Spoon, this time in Milan. Had a fantastic evening with our hosts. Had a great time learning about and making our dishes and an even better time sharing some time with fellow travelers. Highly recommend if visiting Milan, especially if you love to travel as this couple has been everywhere.

Highly recommend for a unique experience

Absolutely loved the class! Nicoletta and Fabio were the most amazing teachers and hosts. It felt like being welcomed into a friend’s home for an evening of cooking, delicious food, and really lovely company. They encouraged my kids to participate in every step - separating the egg yolks, whipping the cream, kneading the dough - and sent us great photos afterwards. This was easily one my kids’ top 2 favorite activities Milan (aside being able to eat amazing gelato every day). My daughter is already asking for us to try make the tiramisu at home. Thank you Nicoletta and Fabio for the wonderful experience!

Authentic Milan Cooking Class with Nicoletta & Fabio: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Milan.

How much does Authentic Milan Cooking Class with Nicoletta & Fabio cost?

    +

Prices start at $67 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Milan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Authentic Milan Cooking Class with Nicoletta & Fabio take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Milan is not rushed.

Is Authentic Milan Cooking Class with Nicoletta & Fabio worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Milan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Authentic Milan Cooking Class with Nicoletta & Fabio?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Authentic Milan Cooking Class with Nicoletta & Fabio suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Authentic Milan Cooking Class with Nicoletta & Fabio?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milan and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Authentic Milan Cooking Class with Nicoletta & Fabio start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Milan?

    +

On Outty we rank every Milan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gnocchi, Pasta, Tiramisù and Wine Class, Authentic Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Milan, Milan's Hidden Gems: Unique Bike Tour (ENG, NL). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Milan?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Milan?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
