    The perfect cooking experience

This experience was fantastic from the crazy drive up from Sorrento, to the beautiful house and surroundings. We started by preparing tiramisu, then moved onto making pasta from scratch we made tagliatelle and ravioli and when completed we sat in an amazing garden with stunning views of Sorrento and ate what we had created with some home-made wine and home-made limoncello…. The hosts made it a perfect day……

This is a must do for anyone who loves or even moderately enjoys cooking. So much better than expected.

The hotel we were picked up at is central and right off the bus stop a lot of busses do drop offs at. Just go down the stairs across the street. First hotel on the left, under the bridge. The family, a brother, a sister, and father. The father doesn’t speak english so well, but the daughter and son, who apparently teach the class, are both fluent and charming as all get out. They invite you into their cars, drive up a donkey cart path that was an adventure all on it’s own. We loved it. They were impressive drivers. The house is this beautiful farm house fresh from Mamma Mia, cute animals and lemon trees all over. They brought us in the house and gave a quick tour, had us set our stuff down, wash hands, then get to cooking. Small samplings along the way, letting different people from the group step in to help. We started with tiara misu prep, the. Went outside to a beautiful patio to roll pasta from scratch. He made the process approachable and easy. It felt so simple to try for ourselves when we get home. We made conversation, enjoyed some homemade wine and lemoncello, then followed them into the house to boil the pasta and he showed the very short and simple process. We sat, ate, made conversation with the other people we didn’t know. It was a beautiful shared meal among strangers. The food was delicious and so simple in a way that made me both excited about the meal itself but in feeling like I could go home and cook it myself. They sent the recipes after, and drove us the 5 minutes back to the hotel. My wife and I loved every minute of it. It was one of the highlights of our 3 weeks in Europe. You won’t regret it. Beautiful people, great view of the harbor, and a beloved change of pace from the rush of late night restaurant reservations that make up most trips like this.

    This was the most amazing...

This was the most amazing experience! We handmade the pasta ourselves with help from the amazing cooking team. The house and cooking area were beautiful. The experience was extremely authentic and such a fun time. I couldn't recommend this more!

    Cooking experience in a farm

What can I say about this experience but truely magical. The location and property are both stunning. Our hosts were wonderful, attentive to everyone’s needs to make the experience fantastic. I could not fault anything, attention to detail, their local wine was excellent and the host made it good fun too. We ate out one made Raviolli with two types of cheese in a lemon sauce. Tagliatelle in a tomato sauce and Tirimusu and personal chose of Coffee or Limoncello, followed by expresso. We got picked up in Sorrento by the Grandfather and dropped back afterwards. Nothing was too much for the family (4 generations). Do not miss this opportunity it exceeded all our expectations, one of our best memories of Sorrento. Kim and Gerry Healy England
