This is one of the best views of the city and Barton Springs, and is a great location for stopping to take pictures before getting back to touring the city. We will drive through the Barton Springs park area to get there, which is a wonderful route

Barton Creek Greenbelt
I will take you along Barton Springs Drive if Murals is your main interests! There's a gorgeous bike path with a view of Ladybird Lake/Colorado River (Is it a river? Is it a lake? It's both!) And we can even go to Barton Springs if you would love to check out the local hangouts!

I Love You So Much Mural
This is probably the most popular mural in the city! It also has a great view of downtown Austin overlooking the Capital and has a lot of nearby attractions and site seeing. If that's not your jam, we will substitute the area with something better. I usually do!

Cancelled at last minute
Booked well before I got to Austin I was contacted by The owner who said because of the ACL weekend he may not be able to do the tour He then realised he could do it as the tour was on the Thursday I kept messaging from the day before to get a pick up time In the end I had to ask viator to contact him on my behalf He apologised and said he would have to cancel because of the ACL I do wonder if he runs this tour very much as no reviews
Response from the operator: We are sorry that you had a bad experience with this booking. The true reality is that ACL is the busiest two weekends of the year, and the day leading up to it can require quite a lot of last minute maintenance. The day was simply too busy at the time to supply a tour. Again, We apologize for the bad experience.

I’ve called Austin home...
I’ve called Austin home for nearly three years, and when my mom visited for the first time, I wanted to share the city’s vibrant charm with her in a truly memorable way. After browsing reviews, I decided to book a pedicab tour—something I’d never considered before but thought could be a fun adventure. It was an absolute hit! Our guide, Thomas, was phenomenal, bringing the city to life with his knowledge and energy. This pedicab tour is hands-down the best way to experience Austin. The open-air ride lets you soak in the sights, sounds, and atmosphere in a way no car tour could match. We explored hidden gems and iconic spots alike, places we’d never have discovered otherwise. The uniqueness of the pedicab made every moment feel special, offering a perfect blend of excitement and intimacy with the city. I can’t say enough about how incredible this experience was! My mom was thrilled, and I’m already looking forward to booking this tour for every visitor i have. Thank you, Thomas, for making my mom’s first Austin adventure unforgettable!

The best tour I've ever had
When exploring reviews prior booking, I saw some people mentioned that this tour was probably the best they had while traveling. It piqued my curiosity and I did book one ! Well, I can now say the same: this tour with Thomas was probably the best I ever had in any city/country I've been to. Thomas was really flexible for pick up. He was also very communicative even before the tour. Our time together was amazing !!! He effectively gauged my energy and my personality to know what stops to include. I also enjoyed talking to him during the whole trip. He is a fantastic guy with such an interesting life story. Will definitely book again, the next time I'm in Austin!!! Thank you Thomas for everything 💛

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Austin Mural and Instagram Tour by Electric Pedicab: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Austin.
How much does Austin Mural and Instagram Tour by Electric Pedicab cost?
+
Prices start at $120 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Austin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Austin Mural and Instagram Tour by Electric Pedicab take?
+
Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Austin is not rushed.
Is Austin Mural and Instagram Tour by Electric Pedicab worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Austin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Austin Mural and Instagram Tour by Electric Pedicab?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Austin Mural and Instagram Tour by Electric Pedicab suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Austin Mural and Instagram Tour by Electric Pedicab?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Austin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Austin and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Austin Mural and Instagram Tour by Electric Pedicab start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Austin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Austin?
+
Austin's activity list runs on food and water: barbecue crawls to the pits that sell out by noon, Lady Bird Lake kayaking under the Congress Avenue bat colony, live music walks on Rainey and Red River, and Hill Country wine and distillery runs. We weight timing detail in the ranking, because a barbecue tour that arrives after the brisket is gone is a different product entirely. On Outty we rank every Austin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Austin: Hill Country BBQ & Wine Shuttle, Best of Austin Small-Group Driving Tour with Local Guide, The Escape Game: Epic 60-Minute Adventures in Downtown Austin. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Austin?
+
March to May and October to November, avoiding the triple-digit summer. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Austin?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
