What you'll see and do

  1. Sacred Valley

This is an exciting trip, designed for adventure lovers like you, in the Andean mountains of Cusco. We provide daily departures ATV Quad Bike to Maras Moray This new ATV Tour, starting from the city of Cusco, is an amazing journey through Maras Moray and Salt-mines. You will get to know the tradition and culture in a very adventurous way. We will pick you up from your hotel to drive to Cruzpata in the sacred valley of the Inkas, from where we will continue by quad bike to the first stop in Moray, an archaeological site where the Incas use it to acclimatize the seeds. The gigantic circular depressions in the ground surface, with their respective irrigation canals were believed to be an agriculture investigation centre of the Inca’s. The average temperature difference between the top and bottom of the depressions reaches up to 15 ° C in the principal depression of approximately 30 meters deep. Then we drive to the salt mines located 7 km from Moray, pass through a typical Spanish village called Maras. The locals still use these salt mines, extracting the salt naturally. We recommend this tour to people who are looking for something different on their journey to have a beautiful memory of their passage through Cusco, because this experience combines history, culture and adventure in one tour. Afterwards we will go back to Cruzpata to return to Cusco by car.

Trust Mega to give the Experience you need

We cannot begin to thank Ari and the Mega Expeditions team for making this a wonderful holiday for all fo us in Cusco. This was our first trip to South America and as always we all had our anxious moments around the people, currency, culture, mobility, food. high altitude etc. Sure we have all the resources on the internet that can guide you, but what really made us feel comfortable was that Mega had scheduled a Virtual call with us a week before our departure and Ari explained everything we needed to know before the trip. This took away a lot of our uncertainties and made us feel like we were indeed going on a holiday. After that call, in the last 2 minutes, Ari actually asked us to summarize whatever we heard just so that we ae all clear and on the same page. After landing in Cusco ,we went and visited the Mega Expeditions office and we were certainly bowled over by their hospitality. We got answers to all of our questions, but more importantly, they made us all feel that we were in good hands for this holiday. All that we now wanted to do was enjoy our holiday. All the tour activities to the Sacred Valley, Salt Mines were on schedule, the local guides were excellent. We also did the Cusco Local City tour with them What a beautiful city and countryside ! Not to forget the ATV rides was an experience in itself. - Rony

Salt mines and lakes.

Amazing salt mines, a good spot for pictures. We took the atv tour to two lakes. It's very dusty, but an enormous thrill to drive an atv. Good explanation. View on the lakes is beautiful.

Amazing experience I’m so happy that i went for it.

Amazing experience definitely worth the money. Romel from ATV tour guide made this made this activity better he explained everything good and when my friends had a problem on the way he helped out a lot. If you are in Cusco and don’t know what to do just go for it. Its not far so you don’t sit in the bus for a long time.

Fun ATV tour

The ATV tour was well organised and fun. Unfortunately, we were a little unlucky with the weather and had rain for most of the tour. Changes to our originally booked dates were accommodated without any issue. Thank you Nixon and Team.

ATV Quad Bikes in the Sacred Valley to Moray and Salt Mines: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does ATV Quad Bikes in the Sacred Valley to Moray and Salt Mines cost?

+

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does ATV Quad Bikes in the Sacred Valley to Moray and Salt Mines take?

+

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is ATV Quad Bikes in the Sacred Valley to Moray and Salt Mines worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule ATV Quad Bikes in the Sacred Valley to Moray and Salt Mines?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is ATV Quad Bikes in the Sacred Valley to Moray and Salt Mines suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book ATV Quad Bikes in the Sacred Valley to Moray and Salt Mines?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does ATV Quad Bikes in the Sacred Valley to Moray and Salt Mines start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

+

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
