Booked 2 events and both...

Booked 2 events and both cancelled about an hour ago without reason seems like overbooking. Disappointed

Response from the operator: Good afternoon Raheel, I'm sorry your tours were cancelled, but unfortunately weather and ocean conditions were not ideal for our tours to go ahead as planned. We had strong northerly winds as well as large ocean swells on both days. The safety of our guests and the quality of our tours are our top priority at all times, hence the cancellations We understand your dissapointment, but safety first always. As our activity is weather dependant, cancellations are unfortunately unavoidable some days. I will request your full refund from Viator immediately and hope you will join us another time. Warm regards The Atlantic Outlook Adventure Team

Epic Kayaking Adventure in Cape Town!

The Atlantic Outlook Kayak Tour was absolutely amazing! Friendly guides, top-notch gear, and breathtaking views of Table Mountain and the Atlantic. Saw wildlife up close and learned so much about the area. Perfect for beginners and pros alike—truly a must-do experience in Cape Town!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your indepth review! I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time on the ocean with our team

A memorable experience

Would highly recommend was a great experience and the guides very friendly. Only feedback I would give is there wasn't really any co-ordination to keep everyone togethor and we found ourselves way behind everyone else. Would have been more enjoyable had more effort been taken to keep us all togethor as we spent a lot of time panicking and trying to row faster rather than enjoy the experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to send us a review. We appreciate all feedback from our guests and will make sure our guides get a copy of yours. I hope you'll have another opportunity to join us another time!

Core memory unlocked! 🐬🩵🌊

This was such an amazing experience and I can’t recommend it enough! - Our tour guide, David, was so welcoming. You can see the passion the team has and their love for the dolphins. - The dolphins were so incredibly cute and active, I got a couple of jumping videos! They swam right next to my kayak, I think I could’ve touched them if I tried. - Their meeting point is in an underground parking area, so you don’t even need to worry about parking in the city (massive bonus). Seriously worth doing!

Response from the operator: I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time on the ocean with us and that the dolphins were out and about! Thank you for choosing Atlantic Outlook for your kayak tour and we hope you'll have another opportunity to join us in the future!

Dolphins, Seals & Penguins! Great experience…

Amazing experience kayaking with the dolphins (within 5 minutes), seals and even penguins! Had never kayaked before but felt safe with the team / group and quickly picked it up - the modified boats making it easier to steer and balance… weather will also play a part in this but would trust the teams judgement. Very relaxed once out at sea and not too strenuous, an absolute must if in Cape Town.

Response from the operator: Hi Josh, So glad to hear you enjoyed your kayak experience and felt safe and comfortable with our guides out on the ocean! I hope you'll have an opportunity to join us again in the future!

Atlantic Outlook Kayak Tour Cape Town: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does Atlantic Outlook Kayak Tour Cape Town cost?

+

Prices start at $600 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Atlantic Outlook Kayak Tour Cape Town take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is Atlantic Outlook Kayak Tour Cape Town worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 205 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Atlantic Outlook Kayak Tour Cape Town?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Atlantic Outlook Kayak Tour Cape Town suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Atlantic Outlook Kayak Tour Cape Town?

+

Around 72 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Atlantic Outlook Kayak Tour Cape Town start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

+

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
