    Perfect transfer and tour.

Absolutely perfect trip. On time pick up from the airport and delivered to hotel then a day of touring. Sofia our tour guide was great. At the end of day we were taken back to hotel. Sofia picked us up the next morning and completed our amazing tour of Athens and the transported to the cruise port. Terry, the manager made sure the entire trip was perfect. He answered every question prior to our arrival and then followed up throughout our trip to make sure all our requests were met. Highly recommend this tour.

    Wonderful tour experience

We are a family of 4 of which 2 are teens. We spent 2 days in Athens and booked with Cattaxi the transfer from the port to the hotel in the evening we arrived from the islands, the highlights of Athens tour during our first day in Athens, and the Coast and Sounio Cape tour finishing our tour at the airport the next day. They were super flexible and adapted the tours and times to our requirements without charching more for it. We were upgraded from a normal taxi to a minivan. One of my children had damaged his ankle and that is why I initially thought in booking a tour with a taxi. It resulted to be a great sucess. We could not have visited so many sites in Athens on our own in these 2 days even if my boy was not injured. Our driver was great. He tried to do all in his hand to make my family enjoy our 2 days in Athens. He spoke good English and provided good explanations making the tours interesting and engaging. He even arranged our Covid tests. They provided for a wheel chair for my child which was transported in the minivan. We had been travelling for 2 weeks in Greece and this was a fantastic close to our holidays. I am super greatful to Cattaxi for these 2 fantastic days.

    Awesome Cattaxi experience

We were a group of 7 people and actually booked 2 days with Terry from Cattaxi--the first was from Athens airport for the Athens highlights & Sounio cape--When we arrived in Athens it was 109 degreed so we were able to change the times of the tour so we were in the van during the hot times and went to the Acropolis in the evening when it was only 99 degrees. In between our driver Vassilious dropped us at our hotel and we took an hour to check in and shower since we had a 10&1/2 hour flight. After we were picked uo at 5 pm we went to the Acropolis and other tourist stops and were later dropped off at an awesome "LOCALS" restaurant. The following day we re-boarded with our luggage and headed to Corinth where we met a local guide and had a very informative tour--stopped for lunch and were dropped at our cruise ship at 4 pm. Both days were extremely well organized and every detail including plenty of cold water. our driver spoke fluent English and had a great personality and was extremely knowledgeable about all the sights except that Acropolis and Corinth where we had to use a private guide--but Terry arranged them and they were at the agreed upon spot on time. The following week when our cruise was over--our party was met at the cruise terminal for the trip back to Athens airport. I take 3 or 4 `cruises a year and average 4 private tours--this was the very best tour I have ever been on.

Athens Tour (from Cruise Terminal Piraeus): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does Athens Tour (from Cruise Terminal Piraeus) cost?

    +

Prices start at $349 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Athens Tour (from Cruise Terminal Piraeus) take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is Athens Tour (from Cruise Terminal Piraeus) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Athens Tour (from Cruise Terminal Piraeus)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Athens Tour (from Cruise Terminal Piraeus) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Athens Tour (from Cruise Terminal Piraeus)?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Athens Tour (from Cruise Terminal Piraeus) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

    +

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
