Not worth it
Guide not fluent in English with the right words, did not see the Parthenon illuminated as in the picture. Show is a tourist trap, boring. Didn’t even see the braking plate on the floor.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that this is an escorted tour and not a guided tour. Your tour escort, Fani, was born and raised in the USA and English is her first language, therefore we were surprised by your comment regarding her English fluency. Regarding the Acropolis view, as this tour took place in early May, sunset is later in Greece and at 20:00 it is not yet fully dark, which affects the illuminated view shown in promotional photos. We are sorry that the show did not meet your personal expectations. However, this cultural performance is very popular among many visitors who wish to experience traditional Greek music and dance. Best regards Hara

Fun dinner show with short tour. Book it.
We were a group of 9. The tour was informative and tour guide was knowledgeable. The dinner theater was a blast. Food was good, service was good, show was fun and a lively crowd. Only negative was we were unsure of how long it would take so we could schedule transfer back to hotel.

Athens at night tour that could have been more enjoyable
This was an Expedia Excursion the took place on Saturday October 5th 2025 in Athens. First let me state ithe rating has nothing to do with Max (our escort) nor the bus driver ( he was amazing ) but everything to do with the tour itself. First we were led to believe by the description that it was a small group tour (not a private tour) and it ended up being a large bus with a lot of clients. Because of the traffic and the very narrow street the bus had to take detours and on many occasions Max our escort had to go of the bus to help navigate the corners ( sometime it took 10 minutes to turn). That caused our bus tour to be late and we were unable to see all of the sites and we just drove by by the site with no chance to take pictures. That said we got to the Greek dinner late and it looked liked the cast were halfway through the show. Because we were late the dinner was served quickly, one thing after another, really did not have time to enjoy the atmosphere of the establishment. The food was good not over the top but that was expected if you ever participate in this kind of excursion. The show was entertaining but we hardly had the time to take it in and enjoy it. My suggestion if you want to book a similar excursion it may be a good thing to go look at private tours or very small group tour. Finally that particular excursion should be looked at and avoid using big buses that are unable to navigate the very small street in Athens, a Sprinter type van maybe better and would keep the group way smaller.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent tour on October 5th. We truly appreciate your positive comments about Max and our driver — we’re delighted to hear that they contributed positively to your experience. We are sorry to read that the tour did not fully meet your expectations, and we would like to clarify a few important points: The tour you booked through Expedia was a shared group tour, not a private or small-group service. The description states this clearly, and the transportation provided is with a full-size coach, as is standard for shared group excursions. When joining a shared group tour, the itinerary and timing must accommodate all participants, which may occasionally result in delays due to traffic conditions—especially in the historic center of Athens, where the streets are narrow and very busy. Our escort and driver acted according to procedure and traffic regulations to ensure safety and the best possible routing under the circumstances. The Greek dinner and show are included as part of the group package. We regret that due to traffic delays you felt rushed and did not have as much time as you would have wished to enjoy the experience. We understand that some travelers prefer a more flexible schedule or smaller group size. For those looking for a more personalized experience, private tours or small-group tours are indeed the best option and come at a different price point. Your feedback regarding vehicle size and route logistics is valuable, and we have shared it with our operations team for review. Once again, we appreciate your comments and are sorry that the shared group tour did not match what you personally envisioned. We hope you still left Greece with enjoyable memories of your visit. Warm regards, Hara

Opa!
Great experience to see the beautiful Acropolis at night and experience authentic Greek music and dance. The guide (Max) picked us and provided a brief history of Athens night views. At the restaurant, we enjoy a full course meal, from the famous Salad, to Spanakopita, Veal meal, and Dessert. The restaurant has a wonderful wine list available to purchase. I recommend this as a must do. Get ready to screen Opa all night!

Athens Night Sightseeing Tour with Greek Dinner Show: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Athens Night Sightseeing Tour with Greek Dinner Show cost?
+
Prices start at $94 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Athens Night Sightseeing Tour with Greek Dinner Show take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Athens Night Sightseeing Tour with Greek Dinner Show worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 270 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Athens Night Sightseeing Tour with Greek Dinner Show?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Athens Night Sightseeing Tour with Greek Dinner Show suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Athens Night Sightseeing Tour with Greek Dinner Show?
+
Around 95 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Athens Night Sightseeing Tour with Greek Dinner Show start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
