    About this experience

A premium sailing experience on board our exclusive sailing yacht from Athens, for a full day tour to Aegina's best spots, accessible only by the sea! We will sail on our spacious and comfortable sailing boat with the company of our friendly and knowledgeable crew. Lay back and take in the warm Greek sun while sipping your cold refreshments offered on board. Our trip begins at 10:30am from Mikrolimano, Piraeus and our return is estimated by 19:30pm. A 2-hour sailing time will warm you up and get you ready for swimming in one of our carefully-selected swimming stops, where lunch will be served too. At around 15:00 we leave Agia Marina behind, and sail around the northern coasts, to one of the clearest coves, off Vagia where another shorter swim stop will take place. Cool off and get ready for our return, back to Athens where we expect to be arriving after a fully memorable day at sea!

Absolutely Outstanding — Best Day in Athens

This experience *far* exceeded our expectations. Captain **Petros** and co‑captain **Constadine** went above and beyond to make the entire day unforgettable. Their hospitality was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure everyone had a great time. As a beginner sailor they spent extra time with me teaching me their techniques on anchoring, docking, and more which i really appreciated. The food they prepared onboard was incredible, fresh dishes, great drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere making the sailing feel truly special. We loved our stops around **Aegina** — swimming in beautiful clear water and having time to walk around town added the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. If you’re considering this excursion, book it. Petros and Constadine turned a great itinerary into an extraordinary day on the water. A true highlight of our time in Greece.

The Captain (Vasilys) and deckie/chef (Marinella) were awesome. Food was amazing and great sailing! Incredible day on the water after days of touring Athens and Delphi!

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

    +

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
