Nice walking tour
Nice walking tour. Very knowledgeable guide. My mom could not finish the tour, it was too much walking for her. So you need to be able to handle 2 hours of walking, stairs, and standing.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for sharing your feedback regarding your recent walking tour. We are pleased to hear that you found our guide knowledgeable and enjoyed the tour overall. We sincerely regret that the physical demands of the excursion were challenging for your mother. Your observation regarding the two hours of walking, stairs, and standing is very helpful, as it highlights the level of physical activity required for this specific experience. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you and your family on another experience in the future.

It is very important to us that our guests not only see the sights but also gain a deeper understanding of the local history and culture. We will be sure to pass your compliments along to your guide. Very crowded. Difficult...
Very crowded. Difficult to walk thru the crowds. Guide should have had a flag to make following him easier.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. Athens can indeed feel a little crowded during the high season, especially in the evenings when the city is at its most vibrant. We understand this can make moving through certain areas a bit challenging. Regarding the use of a flag, our groups are kept intentionally small so that the guide can interact personally with everyone and remain easy to follow without such equipment. We’ll nevertheless take your comments into consideration as we always strive to improve the experience for our guests. We hope you still enjoyed discovering the city’s charm and history with us.

As described in the...
As described in the description. Snails pace, but possibly due to elderly. Would of liked more information and stories during the tour. Compared to other walking tours in other city's it was bland.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We’re glad to hear the tour matched its description, though we’re sorry it felt a little slow-paced for you. We always aim to move at a pace that everyone in the group can enjoy, especially when we have guests of different ages and mobility levels. We also appreciate your comments about adding more stories and information — we’re always looking for ways to make our tours richer and more engaging. Your feedback will help us improve so future guests can enjoy both the sights and the storytelling even more.

Very good
Very good advice, location and services in the hotels, great tours, then we did Mikonos and Santorini. Very good price for all the tours.
Response from the operator: Estimado pasajero, ¡Muchas gracias por tu comentario! Saludos cordiales, Greca Travel

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Athens by Night - Walking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Athens by Night - Walking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Athens by Night - Walking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Athens by Night - Walking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Athens by Night - Walking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Athens by Night - Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Athens by Night - Walking Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Athens by Night - Walking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
