Acropolis adventure in August
We booked this one day in advance during August and were not disappointed. We were a group of ten and Adonis looked after us very well. The booking process, communication and location of the 'meet up' was all very clear and seamless. To others booking - while the meeting point is just beside the Acropolis, they do not exaggerate in terms of the number of steps and all the walking in the intense heat in the Acropolis itself, so bring water, a hat and good walking shoes.

Go early when the weather is HOT!!!
I advise in August to take the earliest tour possible. We were fortunate to book the 8:30 am tour the day of. Our meeting spot was simple to find, our guide very knowledgeable and kept us in the shade as much as possible. It does get crowded, fast. Bring your patience, a camera and water. It is worth every drop of sweat’

Acropolis: A Must See
Our guide, Vicki, was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Acropolis. She presented information that piqued our interest. We slowly made our way up the South slope where we had great views of Athens below. She told us about the hospital, outdoor arena where plays were staged and the concert arena that until very recently hosted many well known artists. The edifices and art work of ancient sites are always astounding, and the Acropolis is no less remarkable. This is a site not to be missed. We had visited the Acropolis Museum at the base of the Acropolis. Don’t miss this valuable resource that showcases the art and daily living household objects created by ancient people of the BC era. Please be aware that the walk up to the top of the Acropolis is strenuous and not really for those who must use mobility aids (canes) as the surfaces are uneven, rocky and unstable in many places. You should wear comfortable shoes with traction soles.

Sofía was our guide, she was amazing and carefully person, she explained all the trip with patience and kindness, we feel very grateful with her the trip is very recommended and for me the museum is very incredible I recommend it
