A really good day out
It was a really good trip and the guide was super knowledgeable and friendly..really good insight and details overall. Good idea if going to take some extra money/card to pay entry to the sites. Not too long either. Just right amount of time. Excellent driver and really comfortable journeys to and from Really recommend this tour

Seeing the fire in the land of fire
Really enjoyed the tour - Shahriyar was a great and very friendly guide, told us lots about the history of Azerbaijan and Baku, then showed us round the temple and told us about the history. Always interesting and gave us time to look for ourselves and take pictures.

Good short trip.
Fire temple and Yanardag! Our pickup and guide, Sharzhad were both wonderful. We booked last minute. We’re good communicators and the guide was knowledgeable!

We normally combine Yanar Dag with Ateshgah Fire Temple because together they present two complementary sides of Azerbaijan’s historic association with fire: Ateshgah provides the architectural, religious and pilgrimage context, while Yanar Dag demonstrates the natural gas phenomenon that helped shape the region’s long-standing connection with naturally occurring flames. Of course, every traveler experiences a destination differently, and we appreciate your view that you personally would have preferred a shorter stop at Yanar Dag. Baku trip
We had a wonderful experience visiting Ateshgah and truly enjoyed the trip. The Ateshgah Fire Temple was fascinating, and learning about its ancient history and spiritual significance was a memorable experience. We also loved visiting Fire Mountain (Yanar Dag) and seeing the natural flames burning from the earth — something truly unique and amazing to witness. Overall, it was a beautiful and interesting experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. A special thank you to our guide, Jahan, for making the experience so memorable. She made the entire trip comfortable, enjoyable, and engaging from start to finish. Her friendly nature and positive attitude made us feel very welcome, and she was always happy to answer our questions and share interesting stories along the way.
