Bit of fun behind the camera
We didn't know what to expect but had a really fun time. Took so many photos, and the staff were ready to help make our experience even better. We were there for more than an hour, we lost track of time. Do yourself a favour and go have some fun!

Great Family outing for all ages
Great family day out. Lots of fun experiencing the themes and capturing the 3d image. Our age group was between 4 and 70 and we all enjoyed the activity.

Grossly overpriced
If I could give this less than 1 star I would. We were the first customers there at opening on a Tuesday. The male staff remember charged us the entry fee and allowed us to enter. Never told us that a massive school group was just about to enter. We had our 4 year old with us. Now I had absolutely no issue with school groups coming through, I think it’s a fabulous experience for school groups. However, staff should let us paying customers know as I would not have entered. Or, maybe book a section of the day just for school groups. We did not enjoy the experience at all because of this. We had just stayed and taken 2-3 photos of our 4 year old and were having fun when we heard a lot of shouting and screaming and about 30 plus kids started running toward us. My 4 year old was scared and didn’t want her photo taken anymore as these kids were running an absolute mock, running in front of us when trying to take pics and pushing in to have pics taken and spending ages at each wall to all have their pics taken. They were disgracefully rude and the teachers were doing absolutely nothing. No control over them what so ever. I had to yell at the children to be quiet and get out of our way. We told a female staff remember midway through and she just laughed as us. Upon exciting I told the male staff member that charged us at the beginning and he EVENTUALLY refunded us. Hopefully he passed the constructive feedback on to block out sessions for school groups OR have the courtesy to tell paying customers that a school group is about to barge through. The school was McKinnon Primary. Another group with their child was in there at the same time who spoke to us about the group and were equally disgusted. Hopefully they received a refund too. It is also grossly over priced, $20 would sum it up.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback as customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. We are sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. We completely understand how frustrating it would have been that you were unable to fully experience the gallery. We do limit the number of people inside the gallery at any one time but some photo positions and zones can be very popular. We encourage patrons to move freely to the next room(s) and then return to the photo point that was busy. We also offer a pass out stamp for those who would like a break and return to the gallery at any one time on the same day. Please be assured that we are taking the steps to rectify the situation and to avoid any similar issues in the future. We do hope to see you again for an improved experience. Kind regards, Team Artvo.

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
ArtVo Immersive Gallery Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Melbourne.
How much does ArtVo Immersive Gallery Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Melbourne usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does ArtVo Immersive Gallery Experience take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Melbourne is not rushed.
Is ArtVo Immersive Gallery Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 446 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Melbourne, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule ArtVo Immersive Gallery Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is ArtVo Immersive Gallery Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book ArtVo Immersive Gallery Experience?
+
Around 156 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Melbourne can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Melbourne and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does ArtVo Immersive Gallery Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Melbourne within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Melbourne?
+
On Outty we rank every Melbourne experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Melbourne: Yarra Valley Wine, Gin, Whisky and Chocolate Tour, Yarra Valley Wine Tour w Exclusive Gin, Cider & Chocolate Tasting, Yarra Valley Wine Tour from Melbourne - Choc, Gin & Good Times. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Melbourne?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Melbourne?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
