Try something new. You have a great time!
Taylor was an amazing guide. The food was fantastic. We did have to walk a good clip, but it was worth it. I highly recommend!
Response from the operator: There's so much to see in the Arts District, and we're glad the ~1 mile walk was worth it! Thanks for your great review! - Erin, Discover Richmond Tours

Definitely an excursion worth doing!
Taylor was the best guide we have ever had. She was super knowledgeable and taught us things about Richmond we didn’t know….even though we have lived here for 13 years! She was a great communicator and we were able to sample foods from restaurants that have been in our list for years. Definitely recommend whether you live near Richmond or are out of town. An A+ experience all the way around!
Response from the operator: WOW thank you so much! Taylor is so knowledgeable and represents the Arts District perfectly! We're so glad that even as locals, you learned something new and hopefully found some new regular spots! Hope to host you on another tour soon! - Erin, Discover Richmond Tours

Awesome food tour
Our tour guide Taylor was absolutely fantastic. She was informative and entertaining and my sisters and I really enjoyed spending three hours with her. We were really lucky to have just a small group with my two sisters and I. Taylor took us to six (!) different restaurants and the food was all fantastic and diverse. We would highly recommend the trip. Taylor’s engaging personality made it really special.
Response from the operator: Taylor said you were such a fun group and they loved showing you around the Arts District and all it has to offer! The food, the history, the people - it's all so great! Thanks for your review! - Erin, Discover Richmond Tours

Great food and guide
Great food at each stop. For only five stops three hours was too long. Also we prefer that the end point be closer to the starting point for parking and other logistics. Overall a very good experience!
Response from the operator: Thanks for joining us in the Arts District! We were working with a new restaurant that day, so we did allot more time than we usually would have, but we heard it was delicious!

Arts District Food Tour in Richmond with Discover Richmond: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Richmond.
How much does Arts District Food Tour in Richmond with Discover Richmond cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Richmond usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Arts District Food Tour in Richmond with Discover Richmond take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Richmond is not rushed.
Is Arts District Food Tour in Richmond with Discover Richmond worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 160 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Richmond, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Arts District Food Tour in Richmond with Discover Richmond?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Arts District Food Tour in Richmond with Discover Richmond suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Arts District Food Tour in Richmond with Discover Richmond?
+
Around 56 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Richmond can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Richmond and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Arts District Food Tour in Richmond with Discover Richmond start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Richmond within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Richmond?
+
Richmond mixes Civil War and Black history tours with urban whitewater rafting on the James River, Hollywood Cemetery walks, mural rides and brewery crawls. On Outty we rank every Richmond experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include RVATukTuk Sightseeing Tour of Richmond, Richmond Downtown Walking Tour, Church Hill Food Tour with Discover Richmond Tours. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Richmond?
+
April to June and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Richmond?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
