    Art + Wine Tour

I had a wonderful time at Mati! I booked the Art + Wine Guided Tour and I encourage anyone interested in art, wine, social and environmental commentary book! 6 delicious local wines from Hatzidakis Winery and pairings + art. I even met the artist! Katerina is knowledgeable, interesting, and took time to explain local wine history and culture as well as explaining the art. Definitely worth exploration, especially if in Mesaria!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re very glad to hear that you enjoyed the Art + Wine Guided Tour. Thank you for your kind words about Katerina and for recommending the experience. It was a pleasure having you at MATI, and we hope to welcome you back again soon! Warmest wishes!

So much more than I expected!

I visited Mati Mesaria during August to escape the noise of the popular places like Oia and Fira, and find something more unique, artistic and peaceful. What I found there was much more than that; The ideas behind the art and the movements, the contemporary architectural touches mixed with the restored old winery and the small village surrounding it, gives you a feeling of timelessness and the chosen soundtrack accompanies perfectly the pieces both inside and outside, making them come to life. If you're looking for a truly unique and emotional experience book the tour! An amazing artistic and an amazing team! Thank you all so much for the experience!

Response from the operator: Hi John, wow, thank you so much! We truly appreciate your review. Reading your words motivates us to keep doing what we love—and to do it even better. It means the world to us that we’ve left such a meaningful impression on you. That’s priceless! Thank you, and we hope to see you again soon!

    +
