    Munchen Passing Train Station

There are two train stations in Munich (Munchen). There is the main train station called Munchen Hbf and there is another train station about ten minutes away called Munchen Passing. Check your tickets to make sure you get off at the right station. To make a connection to Salzburg Austria we had to get off at the Munchen Passing train station. The numbers for the seats are very small above the seats and train car numbers were small to read. When we got on a train out of Frankfurt to Munchen there were people everywhere in the aisles with luggage. The first train was cancelled and they dumped all the remaining passengers on the second train. Make sure you get Reserved Seats in booking trains. Young people in Summer travel everywhere by train and will go sit in any seats they see available. After boarding you need to get to the right car and find your seats and tell them to move after showing your tickets. We travelled Second Class which is the majority of train cars. Much cheaper than first class. If you have a lot of luggage try and get seats 101,103,105,107,115 at the rear of train cars. There is extra space to store luggage behind these seats at rear of train cars. Second class cars are marked with the number 2 on side of car. Germany apparently has not passed a Disability Act. We did not see anyone traveling by train with a wheel chair. We had one person traveling with cane and extra people to handle loading luggage on train. Try and take smaller suit cases when traveling by train to load in overhead bins. Some Elevators in Munchen Hbf train station did not work. In which case you need to use escalator and still try and carry luggage. Trains run on time and generally only have only several minutes to board. Get to your train platform ahead of time and walk down the platform to get away from main crowd boarding. There maybe be two trains together on some platforms. This occurred in traveling to Czech Republic. Trains are end to end and not easy to tell one train from another. The key for catching train to Czech Republic is the train car must have letters AXE or AXEL on side of car. These are the trains to Czech Republic. Also those letters will show up on board for departing trains. There was a German Train Conductor who spoke English on every train we took. If you have a question which station to get off at when heading to small villages check with the Conductor. Also every train car had posted on screen the next station

Response from the operator: This review is not for us. He talks about the trains station in Munich, not about our services. Please @TripAdvisor delete from our profile

Arrival Transfer from Munich Train Station to Munich by Sedan: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Munich.

How much does Arrival Transfer from Munich Train Station to Munich by Sedan cost?

    +

Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Arrival Transfer from Munich Train Station to Munich by Sedan take?

    +

Plan for about 0.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Munich is not rushed.

Is Arrival Transfer from Munich Train Station to Munich by Sedan worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Arrival Transfer from Munich Train Station to Munich by Sedan?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Arrival Transfer from Munich Train Station to Munich by Sedan suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Arrival Transfer from Munich Train Station to Munich by Sedan?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 0.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Arrival Transfer from Munich Train Station to Munich by Sedan start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Munich?

    +

On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Munich?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Munich?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
