Travel in Armenia and Georgia
If you're still looking for a tour operator, don't! It's here - it's the Barev Armenia Tour. In July 2025, my wife and I decided to visit Armenia and Georgia. And we're very lucky that this company was chosen. Lucky to have a team leader too - calm, intelligent, friendly, competent and erudite Lavon, a wonderful man our driver Ashot. I can't help but mention Leon's manager, who briefed us before the trip began. And I also want to say, and this is my wife's experience, Barev Armenia does not abandon its tourists! Thank you so much for the great journey, Barev Armenia Tour!

Barev Armenia
I want to thank the tour operator Barev Armenia for the unforgettable experience of the 8-day tour Armenia/Georgia! Guys, that was great! Excellent guide, comfortable car, thoughtful interesting program, cozy hotels and delicious food. It all had to leave such pleasant, warm, vivid memories of these two beautiful countries! That is why I can no doubt recommend this company to everyone I know and friends. Undoubtedly, the recreation was at the highest level. The beautiful Gegard and Akpat monasteries, old Tbilisi, delicious Khinkali and barbecues of hospitable Armenian farmers will always be in my heart!

Armenia-Georgia July 2025
Good afternoon! I want to leave a review with warm feelings and gratitude of an unforgettable tour of sunny and hospitable Armenia and equally sunny and hospitable Georgia! All of this was made possible by 8 day group tour (10 people) from Barev Armenia and our wonderful guide, historian, encyclopedist, subtle psychologist, and sometimes just iron man in terms of patience and fitness(😁)-Levon, without whom it would not be possible in such a short time to immerse yourself comfortably, concentrated in history, culture and to form an understandable idea, as far as possible within such a short tour, of the life of our brotherly states from ancient times to the present day. I will not describe in detail the places and locations (Yerevan, Gyumri, Sevan, Dilijan, Ararat, Ararat😎, Tbilisi, Gori, Mtskheti, Tsinandali, Alazan Valley, Pirosmani, Rkatsitili, Mukuzani😎, come watch, taste yourself!)) , I will highlight how competently, connectedly built the program, tuned in intensity to different ages of band members. Personally, my wife and I were fascinated by the encyclopedic knowledge of the material, the ability to present information in a simple, understandable and connected historical sense. Everything with a soul and a sincere feeling for the homeland, history and culture in general. Stunning knowledge of historical material!!!Excellent logistics organization, comfortable transportation, all docked and calculated filigreely. Luxury hotels and selected by location in access to all central locations. In our view, the nutrition is optimally thought out. What are welcome lunches and dinners worth, wow!!! National cuisine, music, traditional dance and hospitality everywhere. The selection of locations to visit is designed to cover as many regions as possible in Armenia and Georgia. Although in Georgia and less, but Georgia and in territory more)) Were for the first time in Armenia and Georgia, learned history, saw life as it is, got unforgettable experiences and spent time in the company of wonderful people! SAY- THANK YOU AND SEE YOU AGAIN!!

Good Tour Operator
For our tour of Armenia and Georgia we used Barev Tour Operator. I should say that everything was well organized, our guides were very knowledgeable and professional. Manager Julietta was very responsive and did her absolute best to accomodate all our requests. The only problem we had is that the Tour opertor is not equipped accepting credit card payments which makes it quite difficult especially if we are talking about large amounts. But we'll definitely use them again as they promised to work on their payment options :) :). Thank you , Barev Armenia and dear Julietta !

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Armenia and Georgia: 8-Day Culture, Food and Wine Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Yerevan.
How much does Armenia and Georgia: 8-Day Culture, Food and Wine Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $1,950 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Yerevan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Armenia and Georgia: 8-Day Culture, Food and Wine Tour take?
+
Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Yerevan is not rushed.
Is Armenia and Georgia: 8-Day Culture, Food and Wine Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Yerevan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Armenia and Georgia: 8-Day Culture, Food and Wine Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Armenia and Georgia: 8-Day Culture, Food and Wine Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 192-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Armenia and Georgia: 8-Day Culture, Food and Wine Tour?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Yerevan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Yerevan and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Armenia and Georgia: 8-Day Culture, Food and Wine Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Yerevan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Yerevan?
+
On Outty we rank every Yerevan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Group Tour: Lake Sevan (Sevanavank), Dilijan (Goshavank, Haghartsin), Group Tour: Khor Virap, Garni temple, Geghard, Lavash baking, Group Tour: Garni pagan temple, Geghard monastery, Lake Sevan, Sevanavank. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Yerevan?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Yerevan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Armenia and Georgia: 8-Day Culture, Food and Wine Tour?
+
Included: Wine tasting; 7 nights accommodation; Lunch; Driver; and Dinner. Not included: Alcoholic drinks (available to purchase); and Souvenir photos (available to purchase). Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

+
