Disappointing
Unfortunately, the guide never showed at the meeting point. I arrived at the meeting point at 10:35am and the tour was scheduled for 11:00am. The provider did not text or call to notify me of any cancelation or issues.

Brilliant Host for Great Tour
Santiago is a knowledge host and very intelligent. I enjoyed his company. He answered all my questions and allowed me to digest the information at my own pace. Hands down one of the best tours I’ve ever taken.

good
I truly had an outstanding experience with Santiago, who served as my tour guide throughout the journey. His depth of knowledge about his country was genuinely impressive, and he conveyed it in a highly engaging and insightful manner. He also took us to a museum where we were able to gain a far deeper understanding of the Colombian conflict. If you have an interest in politics, I would strongly encourage you not to hesitate to book a tour with him.

I've had my tour cancelled a minute before we start
They checked me a day early and charged me for the tour and canceled it at the exact time of the start of the tour. On top of that they tell me it was cancelled. I got the email at 10:59. One minute before the tour begins. Very professional everything. I've been bugged by the plans for the day and not an apology.

An exceptional tour
We did the tour with Samuel. One of the best tours I've ever done in my traveling life. Samuel has been a kind guide and a great connoisseur of the history of his country. He has enlightened us on this subject from the 18th century to the present day and has explained clearly the complexity of this land. It has been 3 hours in which he has managed to maintain our maximum attention. Thank you so much for everything. Absolutely recommended. He couldn't do better.

How far in advance should I book Armed Conflict and Violence Tour in Bogotá, Colombia?
+

What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bogotá?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bogotá?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
