About this experience

3 great places in Provence. Arles - St Rémy - Les baux de Provence I'll show you the city of Arles which has some of the best preserved Roman places in the region such as the amphitheatre & the theatre. Arles is also host to the International Photography Festival, a huge exposition with dozens of art galleries open from July to September. You'll discovered the places Van Gogh painted like the hospital, the bridge (a place in the middle of nowhere ), on the river "Le Rhône" waterfront (by night), outside a café. Next stop, Les Baux de Provence with its medieval castle high on a hilltop village just a few miles from Arles. Our last stop will be St Remy de Provence, a very nice little city with a lot of handcrafts & souvenirs shops, Van Gogh printed paintings along the road. A lot of different aspects of Provence. And the cherries on the top? Olive oils & wine & chocolate tastings!

Perfect destinations.

It's a beautiful setting. We love coming here. Don't forget to visit Carrière de Lumière. Tip: be there at 9 o'clock. It is very touristy in high season.

Response from the operator: thank you.

Provence Tour

The light show at Les Baux de Provence was great but we did not have sufficient to shop in St. Remy or Les Baux and had a very rushed lunch that was well after lunch time. But tour guide was exceptional and was very knowledgeable!

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
