Not worth the money.
This was an expensive excursion. We had to pay more than the listed fee due to an increase in airfare. In addition, we did not have enough time to visit the entire Pearl Harbor park before we had to meet our guide for the Honolulu tour. Pearl Harbor itself was interesting and we wish we could have finished enjoying it. The tour of Honolulu and Waikiki was about an hour. We saw maybe 4 sites. We only got off the bus once for about 10 minutes. It was very underwhelming. We would have liked to have taken that hour to stay at Pearl Harbor. I recommend just doing Pearl Harbor on your own and not going through this company.
Response from the operator: Aloha 🌺 Mahalo for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. We understand that time is valuable, especially when visiting a historic site like Pearl Harbor, and we appreciate your comments regarding the pacing of the tour. Please note that inter-island airfare is booked separately and airfare prices are controlled by the airlines and can fluctuate based on availability, which is unfortunately beyond our control. We always do our best to communicate any airfare changes as soon as possible. Our Pearl Harbor and Honolulu tour is designed to provide guests with transportation, scheduled admissions, and an overview of several important Oʻahu highlights within the available timeframe. We understand that every guest may prefer a different pace, and we appreciate your feedback about wanting more time at Pearl Harbor. Mahalo again for sharing your experience. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future 🌈🌺

Let a pro do the driving
We took a day trip over from Big Island with the Aloha team doing the leg work on planning and driving. Our driver, Jeremiah (Miah), embodied the spirit of aloha with the tour, his driving, and his knowledge of his beautiful paradise.
Response from the operator: Aloha! Mahalo nui loa for your kind words. Jeremiah (Miah) is thrilled to hear you felt the spirit of aloha. So happy you enjoyed your day in paradise with us! 🌺🤙

Memorial perfect; guide not so much
The memorial was beautiful. Our tour guide did not wait until 7 AM for us at the pickup. He called us at 6:55 am questioning why we were not at the pickup location (which by the way, I received an email saying the pick up time was adjusted to 7:15am) he was questioning because there were two others that were on our airplane. So he was arguing that we should have been there. He left and said he'd be back for us. We arrived at the designated pickup at 6:59, then waited until 7:35 for him to return and pick us up. As I had questioned the tour itinerary (based on the information in my confirmation) the driver was very rude and told me to stop talking and be quiet and instead listen to him. This encounter and unprofessional interaction did not begin our day on a good note.
Response from the operator: Aloha, Mahalo for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the confusion and unprofessional interaction you experienced at the start of your tour. Our goal is always to provide clear communication and a smooth, respectful experience for all guests. Regarding pickup times, we strive to coordinate with flight arrivals and other guests, and sometimes adjustments are necessary to accommodate multiple travelers. We regret that this caused frustration and that the interaction did not meet the standard of service we aim to provide. Your feedback is important, and we will review this internally to prevent similar issues in the future. Mahalo for bringing this to our attention. 🌺

Summer was amazing for our trip to Pearl Harbor. Very knowledgable about the culture and history of the islands. And she's a beautiful singer. Thanks so much for the tour.

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Arizona Memorial Pearl Harbor and Honolulu City Tour from Kona: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Honolulu.
How much does Arizona Memorial Pearl Harbor and Honolulu City Tour from Kona cost?
+
Prices start at $390 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Honolulu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Arizona Memorial Pearl Harbor and Honolulu City Tour from Kona take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Honolulu is not rushed.
Is Arizona Memorial Pearl Harbor and Honolulu City Tour from Kona worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Honolulu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Arizona Memorial Pearl Harbor and Honolulu City Tour from Kona?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Arizona Memorial Pearl Harbor and Honolulu City Tour from Kona suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Arizona Memorial Pearl Harbor and Honolulu City Tour from Kona?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Honolulu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Honolulu and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Arizona Memorial Pearl Harbor and Honolulu City Tour from Kona start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Honolulu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Honolulu?
+
Honolulu and greater Oahu run on early starts. Pearl Harbor memorial tickets release on a fixed schedule, the North Shore circle-island loop needs a full day, and the catamaran and snorkel runs off Waikiki fill fast in season. We rank on whether the operator secures Pearl Harbor entry themselves and how tight the circle-island itinerary really is. On Outty we rank every Honolulu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kevo's Beach Bus Paddleboard Snorkel Adventure North Shore Oahu, Pearl Harbor City Tour, Ultimate Pearl Harbor Circle Island. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Honolulu?
+
April to June and September to November, between the wet season and peak crowds. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Honolulu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
