Arenal Volcano National Park
Experience Arenal´s only wild frog sanctuary at night, when colorful tree frogs and other rainforest wildlife are most active and most easily observed. At least 28 frog species have made their home the ponds of Arenal Oasis. The Rojas Bonilla family carefully maintains native plants of Arenal, to create needed frog habitat in this private wildlife reserve of fresh spring water fed ponds; within a rainforest refuge connecting the rainforests of the Arenal Volcano and el Rio Burio. The night tour continues past the frog ponds along flat trails immersed in the noisy night rainforest. The guide will point out animals hiding from you.Support, enjoy and learn about the only wild frog sanctuary in the Arenal Volcano Area. Tours led by trained naturalist along flat rainforest trails start at 5:00pm at your hotel.

Amazing Night Walk Experience!
David was an awesome guide and made our night walk such a memorable experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable and had a great eye for spotting wildlife we never would have seen on our own. The highlight was seeing a fer-de-lance actually eating a mouse/rat right off the trail—an unbelievable experience! David made the entire walk interesting, fun, and exciting. Highly recommend him.

Arenal Oasis night tour
Erica was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging guide. She helped us to spot a wide variety of nocturnal wildlife including many varieties of frog, insects, spiders and a snake. It was the credible to experience the change from day to night sounds. Erica helped us to take some fantastic photographs. We ate in the restaurant afterwards which was delicious!

Amazing tour! We saw more than 10 species of frogs, 2 rare lizards, stick bugs and even sleeping butterflies and a rabbit.
