Ponzesi per Scelta: 5 stars are not enough, you deserve at least 6!

Sunset aperitif, music, joy, and a truly unique atmosphere! I have been coming to Ponza for more than 10 years and I can say, without exaggerating, that this was one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had on the island. We had a lot of fun and my children were also thrilled. The crew is truly TOP TIER: friendly, engaging, professional, and capable of making you feel like part of the group right away. If you come to Ponza, an experience with the guys from Ponzesi per Scelta is an absolute must. Five stars are not enough: they would deserve at least 6! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ To us, you are the No. 1! 🔝🌅🥂🎶 We will definitely see each other again!

Super fun party boat!!! Super friendly staff. Recommended if you are up for some dancing during aperitif hour and a swim during the most stunning sunset.

    Magical experiences

We chose Ponzesi per Scelta to have two experiences: the sunset aperitif on a boat with a DJ and the day on a boat in Palmarola with lunch and an open bar. I can say that they exceeded every expectation! The sunset aperitif was simply wonderful: a unique atmosphere, excellent cocktails, lots of music, and lots of fun. Dancing on a boat with the DJ while the sun sets over the sea is an emotion that is difficult to describe, a truly magical experience that we will carry in our hearts. The day in Palmarola was also fantastic. Crystal-clear sea, stops for swimming and diving, excellent lunch, and an open bar: everything organized to perfection to let you experience a carefree and unforgettable day. A special thanks goes to Mirco, Michele, and the entire staff, who were always attentive, friendly, nice, and engaging. From the very first moment, we felt at home. You can clearly tell that they are kind-hearted people who love their work and put passion into what they do, truly taking care of people. I recommend Ponzesi per Scelta to anyone who wants to experience the sea, have fun, and feel welcomed with a smile. If you are looking for an authentic experience, organized with professionalism and a lot of enthusiasm, this is the right place. We will definitely be back!

    Palmarola Ponza and aperitif

Ever since we met the guys from Ponzesi per scelta 5 years ago, we come to Ponza every year to go boating with them. They are extraordinary and create a wonderful atmosphere with people of all ages. They are attentive, friendly, warm, passionate. Michele and Carmine, the two captains and the whole crew, if they didn't exist, they would have to be invented.

    That's great!

One of the most beautiful experiences made. A real disco on the sea, between music and dancing the three hours flew but not as fast as I thought. Being celiac and having some limitations in this area, I can say that I was satisfied and satisfied without problems. The staff is very nice, I had a great time! I can’t wait to come back, in fact I would come back just for them. As you called me, coeliac disease❤️

Aperitif on a boat at sunset: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.

How much does Aperitif on a boat at sunset cost?

    +

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Aperitif on a boat at sunset take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.

Is Aperitif on a boat at sunset worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Aperitif on a boat at sunset?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Aperitif on a boat at sunset suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Aperitif on a boat at sunset?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Aperitif on a boat at sunset start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rome?

    +

Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rome?

    +

April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rome?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
