Amazing and unique experience with a passionate and local coffee farmer!

Manuel was so friendly, informative, energetic, and passionate about growing and producing coffee. He and his wife welcomed us into their home with open arms and were eager to answer our many questions. This was a fantastic experience that we will always remember! Luis was a wonderful translator and was a great resource for clarity on the nuances of the whole process.

    Fantastic!

Fantastic! The perfect combination of educational and intimate experience. Hearing about the details of the entire coffee making process from the actual farmer was eye opening for those of us who take our morning cup of coffee for granted. His daughter roasted and ground the coffee we then savored. Our English translator Angela was spot on as well as charming. Once in a lifetime don’t miss experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your thoughtful review about De La Gente's coffee farm tour in Antigua Guatemala! We're glad to hear that you had an eye-opening experience and enjoyed your visit!

    Brilliant tour

We had an amazing tour with De La Gente. Our guide/ translator Angela and the coffee farmer Angel showed us the coffee plantation and explained the whole life cycle of the plants! There were only the two of us on the tour so we could ask lots of questions and even learned about Guatemalan culture and history as well. The coffee was delicious and we got to take two bags away. Cannot recommend enough!

Response from the operator: We're happy to hear that you had an immersive coffee tour experience with De La Gente! It's great that you communicated all of your questions with the producers and learned a lot about Guatemalan coffee and culture! Thank you for sharing about your experience with us

What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Antigua?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Antigua?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
