Magical day of history and beauty!

We had a free day and wanted to see Myra, Dembe, St Nicholas basilica/ church and the magical sunken city of Kekova.. we foud Ginza Tours via our private tour company & Get Your Guide and were so happy we selected this tour! Small enough a group as only 12 people so that also was fantastic. Osman our guide was superb..filled the drive with information, history, small facts we never knew and accompanied us on all the sites ensuring a day that was filled with professionalism and expert guiding. We had enough free time to walk around each site and take it all in as well as swimming in the crystal waters near the Kekova sunken city. Myra is quite exceptional and lingers on way after you leave. The drive to and from is long but the bus was adequate (could've been improved on as was somewhat old but not enough to complain about) but the scenery incredible along the forests and coastline and Osman filled every minute with great input and historical information. Loved it.

Disappointing excursion unless you love bus rides

Our guide was great, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The trip itself started with 4.5 hours on a bus to Kekova - the hotel told us 3, barely 1 hour on the boat tour with almost none of the sunken part of the city visible and included a 15minute swim - the hotel told us a 2 hr boat tour. A lot of time wasted waiting for and coordinating with a 2nd bus that were doing the same tour. Other stops included as described but total time on the bus including 2 bus swaps and multiple pickups and drop offs was more than 8 hours for about 3.5 hours off the bus. Would not recommend to waste a day on a bus on your holiday!

    Long day, but good tour

The tour was excellent overall and having a smaller group made the experience much more enjoyable and personal. Oman was a fantastic guide — friendly, organized, knowledgeable, and kept the day running smoothly while sharing lots of interesting information, and the driver, also named Osman, was equally great and patient. It was definitely a very long day for me and the driver since I was the first pickup at 5:40 AM and the last drop-off around 7:20 PM, but the tour itself was well worth it. We saw so much and really enjoyed the experience. The Sunken city was a little underwhelming but the boat ride over to the island to see it in the crystal clear water is amazing.

Antalya: Kekova Sunken City, Demre & Myra Day Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Antalya.

How much does Antalya: Kekova Sunken City, Demre & Myra Day Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Antalya usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Antalya: Kekova Sunken City, Demre & Myra Day Tour take?

Is Antalya: Kekova Sunken City, Demre & Myra Day Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Antalya, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Antalya: Kekova Sunken City, Demre & Myra Day Tour?

Is Antalya: Kekova Sunken City, Demre & Myra Day Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Antalya: Kekova Sunken City, Demre & Myra Day Tour?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Antalya can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Antalya and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Antalya: Kekova Sunken City, Demre & Myra Day Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Antalya within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Antalya?

    +

On Outty we rank every Antalya experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Perge, Aspendos, Side and Waterfall Full Day Tour, Full-Day Tour of Pamukkale from Antalya with Lunch, Antalya: Perge, Aspendos, Side & Manavgat Waterfalls Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Antalya?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Antalya?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
