Disappointing Tour: Missed Sightseeing, Shortened Boat Trip, and Wasted Time

The tour was very disappointing and did not live up to its advertised itinerary. The pickup process took around 1.5 hours because the operator was collecting passengers to fill a large bus, which significantly delayed the start of the tour. As a result, we were told that there was no longer enough time to visit the Old Town, so this part of the advertised sightseeing itinerary was skipped entirely. However, there was somehow enough time to spend an entire hour at a jewelry shop, which felt unnecessary and came at the expense of the actual sightseeing. The boat tour was advertised as lasting one hour, but in reality, it lasted only around 30 minutes. The lunch provided was also of rather poor quality. Overall, the tour was poorly organized, with too much time wasted on pickups and commercial stops and not enough time dedicated to the attractions we had paid to see. This itinerary could easily be completed in half a day if properly managed, yet we still did not get to experience everything that was promised. I would not recommend this tour

Missed out on the old town

Pick up from Belek was at 6.45am. The pickup went on and on for 3 hours! We only reached the cable car station at about 10 am, more than 3 hours later. The guide was in complete silence the entire time. Couldn't be bothered to even explain to anyone how long they might be on the bus or what the plan was for the day until the last guest was picked up about 2 hours plus latet. The whole time management of the tour was simply bad. By the time we finished the first stop at the cable car, we were told that we were about 30 mins late and if we do lunch within 30 mins, we should be able to make time. We did cut short lunch and later was driven to a silver shop and spent 45 mins there. They were hard selling and weren't willing to show us the exit. Eventually I think someone from the group bought something and we finally escaped. Regarding the boat ride, we were then rushed to the boat but had to sit there for more than 20 mins waiting for the boat to fill up with other paying customers. It didn't leave until it was full. Also, they blasted super loud music that irriated almost the whole group! Should make clear that the boat does not go anywhere near the lower Duden waterfall and that's just a dot in the distance. We were promised a visit to the old town, the bazaar (1 h 30mins) and the hadrian gate (20 mins) none of which happened. For a tour well reviewed, it was particularly disappointing. We deliberately did not choose a super cheap tour ($6 to $10 tour) precisely to avoid pointless enforced shoping trips. The return journey again was a long drive of drop off. A 7 to 9 hours trip that was turned out to be 13 hours trip on the bus. All I had was very long bus rides, the cable car and the waterfall, a very noisy boat ride and a hard sell jewellery shop that I had no interest in and lack of the old town which was supposed to be a highlight. After quite an unhappy tour group challenged the guide, the guide claimed nothing like this has happened in 15 years of his guiding. Not buying it. This probably happens every single day. Really disappointed, please please don't waste your money.

Antalya/Olympos in one day

Overall good value for money, but being in bus for 6+ hours a day felt as quite a lot, mainly due to traffic, multiple pick ups and 5-6 stops/visits. But with one tour we got to see all we wanted in Antalya.

Cable Cars, Waterfalls & Dino Park: A Long Day of Adventure

I would advise everyone who is adding the Teleferik cableway to check the weather for rain, lightening, and clouds. If you are taking the cableway always take a jacket because it is a mountain summit and the temperature can be up to 20-25 degrees lower than the beach. There was an extra stop in the itinerary at a silver/jewelry factory. Kind of an unusual stop for an adventure agenda. My itinerary included lower and upper Duden falls. However; the tour only took me to lower Duden. Be sure to double check with the tour operator to make sure you will get to go to all the places as your agenda indicates. Lunch was simple and the restaurant was inside of Dino park where you get to feed animals (goats & rabbits). Make sure you have good walking shoes and a raincoat as the day is long due to many stops and the weather can change at any time. We had a really good guide who was nice and very informative of the history in the area.

As your selected package also included the cable car experience, Upper Düden Waterfall was not part of your itinerary, as clearly indicated in the information available before booking.
