Andorra insites

Peter and Carl made a wonderful team. Excellent information about the sites we visited, and enjoyed some special side stops with great views. Was really nice to be dropped off with one of the guides, while the other drove to a pick-up place so we didn't have to drive around looking for parking. Also great insite into geopolitical Andorra.

What a day!! Peter and...

What a day!! Peter and Carl were exceptional guides. They are very knowledgeable about the history of Andorra, Spain, and France and made sure that we had time at several locations for pictures, shopping, and sight seeing. It is a bit of a road trip day, but the views are spectacular, laughs and good conversation were had, and the ride back to Barcelona is the perfect time for a nap with comfy blankets and pillows in the van. Highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to see the Pyrenees and Catalonia countryside with two lovely gentlemen leading the way!

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for booking with us and for being fantastic guests and for the lovely review. All very much appreciated. We really enjoyed meeting you both and are very glad you enjoyed the Andorra tour so much. Hope you see you again! Warm regards and best wishes to you both for the future!! Your friends Carl and Peter of DayTripsBarcelona.

A truly remarkable day!

I cannot say enough about what wonderful guides Carl and Peter are. They are not only extremely knowledgeable, but are also so engaging that even a tour that involves an 11 hour day seems to just fly by. They had a well-organized plan with enough flexibility to make the most of the time available. Andorra is so beautiful and we were really happy to have an opportunity to learn about their its interesting history and what things are like there today. It was a great opportunity to visit a little known place. We had an absolutely wonderful day in Tarragona with them two years ago and felt very lucky to be able to arrange this visit to Andorra when we were in Barcelona this month. I would highly recommend this tour or in fact, joining Carl and Peter for any tour.

Response from the operator: It was fantastic to see you both again and to meet your friends, who were as much fun as you are. We both had such a great time and really enjoyed the relaxed banter and chats. Time did indeed by on this tour. Thanks again so much for booking with us and for taking the time to post such a lovely review. Do come back and see us one day - for new adventures or just for a coffee. Warm hugs and best wishes to you all for future travel from your friends in Spain, Carl and Peter of DayTripsBarcelona. p.s. sorry it took a while to reply to your review.

Best Tour To Be Found

This was the best tour that we've ever been on! Peter and Carl are great. They picked us up at the hotel and showed us a fabulous day of Spain, France, and Caledonia. They even tried the're hardest to find my wife a Dr Pepper soda, but there was none to be found. They really know the history of this area and kept us informed. They went over and above to make this tour great. They are highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for this review... what a great time we had with you both! We enjoyed the Dr Pepper hunt immensely... we'll be sure to stock up if you come by again.. which we hope might happen... Thanks so much for booking with us - take care and best wishes for your future travels from your new buddies in Spain, Carl and Peter of Daytripsbarcelona

Andorra, France and Spain Day Tour with 2 Guides and Hotel Pickup: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.

How much does Andorra, France and Spain Day Tour with 2 Guides and Hotel Pickup cost?

+

Prices start at $228 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Andorra, France and Spain Day Tour with 2 Guides and Hotel Pickup take?

+

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.

Is Andorra, France and Spain Day Tour with 2 Guides and Hotel Pickup worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 81 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Andorra, France and Spain Day Tour with 2 Guides and Hotel Pickup?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Andorra, France and Spain Day Tour with 2 Guides and Hotel Pickup suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 11-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Andorra, France and Spain Day Tour with 2 Guides and Hotel Pickup?

+

Around 28 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Andorra, France and Spain Day Tour with 2 Guides and Hotel Pickup start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Barcelona?

+

Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Barcelona?

+

May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Barcelona?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
