What you'll see and do

  1. Kanto Lampo Waterfall

Discover Kanto Lampo Waterfall in Beng Village, Gianyar — a true Bali hidden gem. Forget tall, thundering drops. Kanto Lampo’s magic lies in its wide, stepped cliff where water cascades in silky sheets, catching the sunlight and casting rainbow refractions. It’s one of Bali’s most photogenic spots. Please Note : You’ll descend a short set of stone steps, then splash through cool, knee-deep river water to stand right beneath the falls. Expect wet feet, big smiles, and photos you’ll want to frame.

  2. Kehen Temple

Step into Bali’s living heritage at Kehen Temple, one of the island’s oldest and most sacred mountain temples in peaceful Cepaga Village, Bangli. With your friendly local guide, explore three holy courtyards — the public Nista Mandala, the ceremonial Madya Mandala, and the inner Utamaning Mandala with its towering 11-roof meru shrine and 700-year-old banyan tree. Discover intricate stone carvings of Hindu epics, feel the calm energy of a real working temple, and learn how local villages unite here every six months for major Balinese ceremonies. Far from the crowds, Kehen offers authentic culture, mountain air, and unforgettable photos.

  3. Penglipuran Village

Where Tradition Lives in Perfect Harmony Imagine a village with no motorbikes, no litter, and homes that have looked the same for centuries. Welcome to Penglipuran, a cultural gem in the Bangli highlands that has won international awards for cleanliness and sustainability. Guided by the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, this community balances human life, nature, and spirituality in every aspect of daily living. The beautifully preserved houses follow Asta Kosala Kosali - ancient architectural principles using the sikut satak system designed to bring peace, balance, and positive energy to all who enter. Walking its main street feels like stepping back in time. Meet friendly locals, admire intricate bamboo architecture, and experience a side of Bali most tourists never see.

Amazing tour of Ubud

Thank you Komang for a great tour of Ubud! We got to see and do so many different things and had a really fun day. Komang was kind, friendly and informative, it was really helpful having a tour guide to show us all the best places in Ubud. Even when one of the waterfalls was closed he found us another place to go which was just as beautiful and very quiet. Would highly recommend this tour!

Response from the operator: Time is always spinning around the clock, and until now i can't wave the sweet memory on our fun day tour. It was a long life memory that i will keep on my sweet memory on our time in Bali. Hope the nature blessed us and we can meet again on another day tour in Bali. Best Regards Komang

Ubud and surrounds

Excellent trip, got a message day before our trip from the driver to tell us his name and time of pick up, arrived on time, nice clean car, gave us bottles of water, told us the plates he could take us. My wife has trouble doing stairs so he avoided these but still gave us a great tour and we saw all we wanted to see. would recommend this trip.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for review and see you again on the next other tour in Bali Best Regards Adi

Fun tour

The tour ended up being just my wife and I and our driver. We saw two waterfalls, Tirta Empul Temple, Mount Batur, a coffee plantation and a jewelry craft market. So, we covered a lot of ground - and hit most of the spots we wanted to see outside of Ubud. Our driver, Wiyian Suka was an excellent tour guide and driver. His knowledge of the sites was impressive. His English was easy to understand.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for the amazing day, i hope there is another chance we can meet again in the next tour Best Regards Wayan Suka

Ancient Village Kanto Lampo Kehen Temple Private Guided Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seminyak.

How much does Ancient Village Kanto Lampo Kehen Temple Private Guided Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $9 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seminyak usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Ancient Village Kanto Lampo Kehen Temple Private Guided Tour take?

+

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seminyak is not rushed.

Is Ancient Village Kanto Lampo Kehen Temple Private Guided Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seminyak, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Ancient Village Kanto Lampo Kehen Temple Private Guided Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Ancient Village Kanto Lampo Kehen Temple Private Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 9-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Ancient Village Kanto Lampo Kehen Temple Private Guided Tour?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seminyak can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seminyak and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Ancient Village Kanto Lampo Kehen Temple Private Guided Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seminyak within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seminyak?

+

On Outty we rank every Seminyak experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Bali Waterfalls: Tibumana, Tukad Cepung and Tegenungan, Bali Instagram Tour: The Most Scenic Spots, Ubud Hot Springs and Waterfall Private Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seminyak?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seminyak?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
