Mistral is mind blowing
Little left of Sparta as its stones have been recycled for use by the locals in building their homes over millennia. The Sparta museum is a must. Mistral more than makes up though as it is mind blowing. The Macchu Piccu of Greece! My driver Thanasis G. was great!

Thenasis was a great host...
Thanasis was a great host and very knowledgeable. He pointed out many historical landmarks at Salamis, Corinth , Sparta and Mystras and provided depth and context for each. We got to see the non-touristy parts of Greece - this tour was one of the highlights of our trip.
