Personalized tour in a very comfortable car and a great driver/guide
Theo was very nice and accommodating. We tweaked our tour some and he even suggested some places to check out. I loved the cultural center he took us to that's not a touristy place but very beautiful. It has a view of the city at the top.
Response from the operator: We are glad you still liked the tour despite the "tweaking" and adjusting! :) :)

Great experience
We’ve spent a great day with our guide Theo. Everything was fantastic, We had plenty of time to visit all sites and eat and even add two stops at a beach and at Memorial 13 December 1943.. The train between Diakopto and Kalavrita was a little late but it didn’t matter. Nikos booked our tickets in the first row and Theo made sure we got our seat before leaving us! We appreciate it! And what about the lunch. We left Theo order for the 3 of us! Excellent! We had enough time to enjoy every minute of it and also go back in the village to take some pictures. The Cave Lake is a unique place to visit. Our group was only a group of four so we had time to ask questions and enjoy! We enjoy every part of this tour!
Response from the operator: Well, you did a review for the wrong tour but at least it is the right tour agency (Eudaimonia Private Tours). Thank you very much!

Fantastic touring in Greece
We recently spent four days touring in and around Athens and the Peloponnese with Nikos Giannopoulos. We had a great time. Nikos is very knowledgeable about the whole region. He worked with us to plan our days so that we saw not only what we were most interested in, but also special things we would not have found on our own. Nikos is very experienced. He knows all the sights and the best ways to experience them. He made everything easy for us. His English is impeccable, he is totally reliable, and he is fun to be with. Nikos really enjoys guiding, and it shows. We also spent some time with one of his colleagues, Theo, and he was also very good. Nikos also has a very nice car, and he knows great places for authentic Greek meals. If you want a guide in Greece, Nikos and Eudaimonia have our unqualified recommendation.
Response from the operator: Grear review, great people, and amazing company to tour with. Thank you very much for the taking the time to review us.

Our vacation in Greece this Summer...

Our vacation in Greece this Summer was greatly enhanced by our driver/guide from Eudaimonia Private Tours. On our previous visits to Greece we had been on organized tours which was educational and very good in its way as we were with a large group of tourists. This time it was just the two of us and we experienced Greece in a very different way.

Our guide met us on arrival at the airport, his English was excellent, he was personable, nicely dressed and the vehicle was immaculately clean. Very good first impression. We had communicated by email before we left Canada to give him an idea of what we wanted, and did not want, for the day he would take us to Nafplio later in the week. On the way to our hotel he offered ideas that he had about some places of interest that we may want to include on our day trip.

From our conversations he was also aware of our physical and energy limitations and planned accordingly. We also wanted some of the day for ourselves to just sit and soak up the surroundings, - no problem. Our trip was flexible and we took different routes coming and going. We enjoyed stunning scenery of hills and valleys going, and beautiful coastal vistas coming back. We stopped to eat at out of the way places suggested by him that were off the beaten track yet on our way to Nafplio. No tourist traps. One highlight was the submerged bridge under the Corinth canal. Simply amazing. On a later trip to the ferry in Piraeus, he made an unscheduled stop for us to see an amazing 360 vista of Athens, the hills, Piraeus, and the sea and islands from the top of a new building library's open air, but shaded, roof top. We also stopped at a boat museum that was fascinating and well worth it.

Our guide had a great appreciation of all he showed us and was obviously very proud of his home land. He shared so much with us and we enjoyed his c and engaging personalty. Nafplio was a great day with fun and good company and he also helped us with our trip to Piraeus for our ferry to Hydra also held wonderful surprises. This was a very different experience than taking an organized bus tour. It was so personalized and flexible. We highly recommend him Nikos without hesitation for others who want a different way to see Greece. We are still enjoying it.

Our driver/guide also offered to help us with other aspects of out trip so it was like having a trusted friend in Greece if we needed it, a very wonderful thing.

+

How far in advance should I book Ancient Olympia Private Full Day from Athens with Great Lunch & Drinks Included?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
