Great Trip with Michael from My Athens Transfer

I booked this pretty much last minute- having been directed by AI tool (Claude) to choose My Athens Transfer as the operator- and AI wasn’t wrong! The booking process was seamless - fully online, and at a quite competitive price point. But what made the trip absolutely memorable was the driver, Michael. He was an absolute charm to be with, very courteous, understanding that we are travelling with young kids - and extremely knowledgeable across a number of topics - history, geography of the area to mythology, language etc. I had an impression that every Greek is a philosopher and Michael certainly reinforced that belief. Although the trip was supposed to be for 9 hours - with young kids and a number of places to visit - it went past 12 hours. Not a single time Michael showed any complaints or concerns - he is an absolute legend - give him a raise! :) I highly recommend My Athens Transfer for delivering a brilliant experience in the Peloponnese that would live long in the memory for us. I will definitely choose them over and over again!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such an incredible review! We're honoured that you chose My Athens Transfers—and we're especially pleased to hear that your AI assistant pointed you our way! We're delighted that the booking process was smooth, but what truly makes us proud is hearing about your experience with Michael. He is a fantastic member of our team, and your kind words about his professionalism, patience with your young family, and passion for sharing Greece's history, geography, mythology, and culture mean a great deal. We'll be sure to pass along your generous feedback to him—especially the suggestion about the raise! It was our pleasure to make your day as relaxed and enjoyable as possible, even when the tour extended well beyond the planned duration. Creating memorable experiences is exactly what we strive for, and we're thrilled that your visit to the Peloponnese will be one you'll remember for years to come. Thank you once again for your wonderful recommendation. We truly look forward to welcoming you and your family back to Greece on your next visit!

A must do trip with Panos, the best driver/ tour guide

Panos was an excellent driver and tour guide. Professional, extremely knowledgeable about the areas we visited and everything else we asked about on our journey (from Roman walls to football)!! From the first stop at the incredible Corrinth canal, retracing St Paul’s steps in ancient Corrinth, the tomb of Agamemnon at Mycenae, the views from the castle and relaxing vibe of Nafplio and the huge Epidaurus theatre, It was a full and busy day. Panos made sure we never felt rushed and there was lots of time to see and do everything. This was the highlight of our trip to Athens, better than the Parthenon (just).

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us. Your kind words truly mean a lot to our team and motivate us to continue providing the best possible service to our guests. It was our pleasure to be part of your trip to Greece, and we hope to welcome you again in the future! Thank you once again for choosing us.

What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
