A quick little tour for first timers in Calgary.

It was fun and easy to walk to. The start and finish points are close to each other which meant we had to walk back. If it was intentional, ok, I don’t understand the intention though. We didn’t know it’s a timed tour. We mad it without paying for extra time. I thought I could have a coffee in between, good we didn’t. With a kid it needs more time or a different line up.

Response from the operator: Hi Christina, Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear you found the Calgary scavenger hunt fun and easy to walk. We appreciate your feedback about the start and finish points and the timing, especially when exploring with a child. This helps us consider ways to make our hunts more flexible for all participants. We hope to see you on another scavenger hunt soon! — The Let’s Roam Team

    Nice walking experience

The scavenger hunt itself was good. We enjoyed walking the city and seeing the sites. The process of getting set up was not so easy. We paid for two users but could never figure out how to get the second one set up.

Lovely places , excellent weather, good food ,welcoming people in shops mall etc.

It was a pleasant experience to visit Calgary with family members. Enjoyed all the places, the huge mall, restaurants and other places like zoo,and so on but going on Calgary Tower was another thrilling experience. Public places were very clean and people were also welcoming. Will visit again.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our hunt in Calgary and is a great place to explore, and we are very excited to be launching additional hunts in the area! :) Looking forward to having you on our other hunts!

    Worth trying out

Great activity to do, especially during Covid. Would highly recommend trying one out. If you’re from Baltimore, the haunted scavenger hunt was really interesting

Response from the operator: We appreciate the time that you spent writing us a review. We're glad you get to enjoy doing one of our scavenger hunts! We do have more activities that you can do aside from the outdoor scavenger hunts we now have in-home hunts and virtual game nights which are great during this pandemic. We hope you are well and safe!

Great hunt. Learned new things. Family friendly. Player challenges were not working though which was disappointing.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback! We'll look into it and see what happened to your hunt.

An Epic Scavenger Hunt: Calgary Culture: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Calgary.

How much does An Epic Scavenger Hunt: Calgary Culture cost?

    +

Prices start at $12 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Calgary usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does An Epic Scavenger Hunt: Calgary Culture take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Calgary is not rushed.

Is An Epic Scavenger Hunt: Calgary Culture worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable nightlife in Calgary, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule An Epic Scavenger Hunt: Calgary Culture?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is An Epic Scavenger Hunt: Calgary Culture suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book An Epic Scavenger Hunt: Calgary Culture?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Calgary can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Calgary and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does An Epic Scavenger Hunt: Calgary Culture start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Calgary within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Calgary?

    +

On Outty we rank every Calgary experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Discover Banff National Park - Premium Day Trip, Day of Dinosaurs & Hoodoos from Calgary to Drumheller Badlands, Drumheller & Hoodoos Day Trip from Calgary, Explore the Badlands. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Calgary?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Calgary?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
