Royal Palace Amsterdam

The palace remained in use as a royal residence until Queen Wilhelmina moved out in 1898. It then served as headquarters for both military and civilian authorities during war. Rijksmuseum
The Rijksmuseum is a Dutch national museum dedicated to arts and history in Amsterdam. It is located on the Museumplein in the borough Amsterdam South, close to the Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum, and the Concertgebouw. The Rijksmuseum is one of the largest museums in Europe. The museum was founded in 1800 and opened its doors in 1885. After a ten-year renovation which cost €375 million, it reopened on 13 April 2013. There are 250 rooms here for you to peruse and even a library with over 35,000 books. The museum had 360,000 visitors in 2017.
